I've been waiting for so long
Waiting for you to ask
Even though I'm told it's wrong
Told it's not gonna last
I'm giving you another chance
Wether they like it or not
Not like some silly dance
These feelings weren't forgot
Nothing will make me change my mind
I'm doing this for me
Even though it's not being kind
They'll have to wait and see
Tell me I can't do this
I'll turn and say 'watch me'
An opportunity I can't miss
Time to give up being free
Two hearts that beat
Two sets of feelings the same
In time it could be love
There will be no shame
