Being hungry in a hotel was quite convenient because to get something to eat, all you had to do was pick up the phone to order room service. Unfortunately, it wasn't that simple for me since the only elevator in the whole hotel was broken and they apparently can't carry a trolley of food up the stairs.

I was stood in the line for the breakfast buffet when my phone started buzzing, signalling a text message.

From: Michael, 08:47:
Are you going to meet us there? x

To: Michael, 08:50:
yeah, cal and i talked about it earlier x

I turned off my phone and found a table by the large window, coming up with some new interview ideas..

I was cut off by the alarm that I set on my phone.

iHeartRadio awards in 8 hours - start getting ready!

I sighed before rushing the remainder of my meal and taking the stairs up to my hotel room (bad idea after I'd just eaten). After I had showered and washed my hair, my hands gripped onto the dress I was going to be wearing and various other items that I may need before I relocated to the stylist's suite.

The lady who did my hair and makeup did a really good job, I learned that her name was Melody and she looked around the same age as me. She made final adjustments to my smokey eye before painting my nails with a classy black and white pattern.

By the time I was ready to try my dress on, we had used five hours. We needed to allow one hour to get to the venue and another 30 minutes for interviews.

Since Calum and I weren't an official couple yet, we decided against walking the red carpet together to avade rumours about me being pregnant with his child or something like that. Melody and I had about two hours before we needed to leave so we sat down and decided to play a classic game of Uno. The other stylist, Cassidy, was just laughing at how focused we were. It was safe to say that Melody and I were the most competitive. An hour and a half later, we had played thirteen rounds of Uno. Melody and I had both won four of the games and Cassidy had won five. She was jumping around the sofa boasting about how she was the queen and that we should all bow down to her.

On the way to the venue, the amount of butterflies in my stomach had doubled by thinking about the award I was nominated for; Best Presenter. I don't remember who I was up against but I think if I did I would be even more nervous.

The limousine stopped the the beginning of the red carpet, I thanked the driver and got out. The chauffeur then drove Lizzy and Ingrid round to the back entrance, ready to meet me after the photos and interviews. As soon as I stepped onto the red carpet, paparazzi were calling my name and flashing lights were blinding me.

Once my eyes had adjusted to the bright lighting, I could see various radio stations waiting for interviews. Ryan Seacrest's radio station was quite familiar with my own, so I headed over there for the first interview.

"Brooke! It's so lovely to see you again!" The lady said. If I remembered correctly, her name was Catherine.

"And you!" I smiled.

"So how is your project going so far?" She asked, moving the microphone closer to me.

"It's going really well. Everyone is so easy to work with and it's just amazing that I can do something a little bit different than what I normally would be doing. So far the video blogs have had great reviews from the fans and that's great because the whole reason for doing this is to make the fans feel more connected to the boys while they're on tour." I answered truthfully.

"From the quality of your videos, we can tell they a lot of effort is put into making them."

"Definitely." I replied.
