"What is she talking about?" Calum rushed. "What nightmares?"

The alcohol hadn't completely left my body but it had drained enough to give me the start of a hangover. Considering my head was pounding and the fact that I was about to throw up, it should've been understandable why I didn't want to discuss the topic of where my nightmares originated from.

"Calum. It's honestly nothing that you need to worry about. I usually get these nightmares when I've drunk a lot of so it makes sense that I've had one." I told him.

Calum sighed. "If it was something worse then would you tell me?"

"I would tell you in the future, but not right now."

He nodded, "So, about that date."

"I'll pick you up at seven!" Calum called as he left the room. We were about to leave for the next city so we had to plan ahead, it got a little confusing after a while.

Since paparazzi was always on our backs, Calum and I had to keep our date on the down low. With our restricted options, we figured that the safest option was to just see a film and get something to eat afterwards.

I settled into my new hotel room, this time I was rooming with Becky and Cassidy. I reached for my laptop continued to edit my most recent video. Today was Friday so I wanted to get as much done before I posted the new video tomorrow.

It's content mainly consisted of the filming I did last night at the award show. It sometimes included the boys but I wasn't with them until the after party, so I had little footage containing them.

"You know, it's such a nice change for me to be the interviwee instead of the interviewer." My voice spoke from the laptop speakers, making me cringe slightly.

I added some other clips and trimmed them to perfection, overlaying some music in appropriate places.

I set a reminder on my iPhone to film my new video. I have a notes page that I gather all of my ideas into so I usually just take one from there. Recently, I've started to take suggestions from fans as well, since is really for them.

After I realised that I was rapidly losing time, I stepped into the shower, pondering about what I should wear.

Briefly scrolling through a list of ideas from Pinterest really gave me some inspiration, so I decided to go with a simple white jumpsuit with sandals and a leather jacket. I checked the weather to make sure I wouldn't get cold beforehand. I put my phone on charge and continued getting ready.

Still wrapped in my towel, I blow dried my hair and gently curled it. They didn't turn out perfect, but it was the best that I had time for. I applied a base of foundation and concealer onto my face before adding a few sweeps of contour and highlighting, dealing with my eyebrows, and putting on eyeliner and mascara. I finished the look with some red lipstick.

I had just finished putting in my earrings when there was a knock on the bathroom door.

"Brooke, you got a text from Calum. He said he's coming in ten minutes." Cassidy spoke through the wall.

"Ok, thanks, Cassidy."

I slightly sped up my movements and swiftly evacuated the bathroom. I got changed while nobody was looking and packed my handbag. The nerves were starting to kick in.
There was a tap on the door at 18:57, three minutes before he was due. I unfastened the latch and swung the open the door, almost too shy to meet Calum's brown eyes. To be honest, he looked as nervous as I felt.

"Hey, you look really pretty." He complimented.

I thanked him and returned the flattering remark. He was wearing a black t-shirt with a red and black flannel over it and his usual black skinny jeans. I found it quite cute how the whole band shared each other's clothing.
