Our first destination was Massachusetts. The journey was about three and a half hours and we had left ten minutes ago. Ugh.
I was hanging down from the side of my bunk when I got hungry. I debated which was the least painful/damaging way to get down and I ended up going into a handstand and falling down that way.
I made my way to the small kitchen and found myself an apple to munch on. Since everyone else was in his or her bunks, I stepped into the living room/lounge thing and turned on the TV. I scrolled through the channels and landed on CBS, the Victoria's Secret fashion show was on.
Why can't I be that sexy? Nobody finds me sexy.
I decided to start planning out the interviews for the rest of the tour. We officially start filming in four days, so I have until then to figure it out.
In two weeks we would be in Michigan, home of Tyler Oakley and the rest of my family. Since my job required me in New York all the time, Lizzy and I chose to move closer to the city. My mother, father and younger sister moved further away from me when my dad got a job in Michigan. Basically, I haven't visited my family in about seven months because everyone was busy, but my sister, Orla, has her graduation within the duration of our time there.
Talk about good timing.
Boredom was slowly creeping up on my so by the time I had finished the VS fashion show, I had no clue what to do. Remembering Calum gave me his number; I decided to FaceTime him and the boys. I clicked on Calum's contact and realised that he forgot to make a profile picture. I can either take one from his Instagram or I could screenshot something from the call.
Yeah... The second one sounds better.
Cal picked up on the fourth ring and the first thing I saw was a wet and shirtless body. I literally thought I was drooling. That is normal, right?
"Were you in the shower?" I questioned, "Your hair looks wet."
"Is it that bad, huh?" I furrowed my brows. "It's sweat, not water. I was working out a little with Ashton in the back room." Calum explained. "It wasn't anything hardcore, I just need to get fitter." I scrunched up my nose at the idea of him producing that much sweat. He suddenly laughed loudly, "No, I did come from the shower, I was just joking - but I did work out before my shower." I made a noise of understanding. "Let me just get a shirt on. It's getting quite cold in here." Calum muttered.
There was a bit of shuffling before the camera was placed on a flat surface facing the ceiling. I could just about hear the faint strumming of an acoustic guitar playing a familiar tune, Amnesia.
Man, that's a good song.
"Luke! Shut up!" I heard Michael groan. I chuckled as Calum picked up his phone again.
"Sorry about them, hopefully they'll stop arguing now." Calum apologised while leaning back on his pillow with the device stretched out above him. I glanced at his newly covered torso and noticed his 'peace off' shirt. I need to find their stylist and ask her to make me a new wardrobe.
"No, it's fine, honestly." I assured. It fell silent for a few moments before I decided to speak up. "I'm really excited for Michigan." I confessed.
"Why? What's happening in Michigan?" Calum wondered out loud.
"My family live there, maybe when we get there you could meet them!" I suggested. "I reckon my younger sister, Orla, would love you. She loves bands like All Time Low and Green Day so I'll recommend you to her." I rambled. I barely get the chance to see my family, so when I talk about them I get a bit carried away.
"That sounds really lovely, Brooke." Calum smiles.
"So . . . What are you doing when we arrive in Massachusetts?" I wondered, seeing if he was available to hang out with.
