When it was dark out, Aiden and I left his house, we traveled in the cover of darkness heading towards the beach, The only light guiding us was the full moon above us. My eyes were glowing liquid gold, I looked over to Aiden, his eyes were glowing as well, but they looked more like flowing water. I guess all witches are different in the sense of what color their eyes glowed.
When we got to the shore, Aiden put his bags down before closing his eyes. He looked like he was channeling his powers like I usually do, I just hoped he could do it a bit quicker, it's a cold December night, and the wind from the ocean wasn't making it any warmer.
I looked up at the moon to distract myself from the cold, but something seemed different. It was glowing brighter than it was just a few minutes ago. The light from the moon started to seem like it was traveling toward us, but specifically, it looked more like it was spiraling towards Aiden. I looked over to him, his hands were glowing, a ball of light was forming in the palm of his hands. It was now that I noticed that he was murmuring something. Was he reciting a spell?
Just then the light from Aiden's hands traveled at full speed towards me. It seemed to pass right through me, but I could feel it in my lungs.
"W-What did you just do?" I asked. A little stunned, I didn't feel too much different other than the slightish cold feeling in my chest.
"I assume that since you've lived on land all your life, you don't have the water breathing spell on you."
"Yeah, I guess your right."
Aiden picked up his bags and walked into the water. I followed him but as soon as I took one step I could feel the cold through my shoes. I step backward toward the safety of the beach.
"How are you so comfortable with the cold water?" I called out towards him.
"You get used to it after living it in for your whole life." He shrugged, coming back towards me.
I groan before stepping back into the water. I was shivering before I was even waist-deep in the water.
"Oh come on, it's not that cold" Aiden said. I was shivering so much that I could barely move a few inches at a time.
"I-It may not... b-be for... you b-but it is for... m-me" I managed to say as I shivered uncontrollably.
"Ugh fine, you're going to slow us down otherwise," Aiden says almost under his breath. He closes his eyes and seems to mutter another spell. The moon seemed to glow brighter again as a bright ball of light formed in the palm of his hands once more. This time, the ball of light seemed to engulf me. As soon as the light dimmed, I felt warm. I was no longer shivering, the ice-cold water not bothering me a single bit.
"Wait, you could've done this the whole time, and you decided to let me suffer? How dare you," I say jokingly, but I was still partially annoyed.
"I didn't think you would slow us down this much," he shrugged. I rolled my eyes in response.
Now that I wasn't slowing us down so much, we actually covered more... water? I guess you can't really say we covered more land unless you're talking about the ocean floor.

"Ok, this is the diving spot," Aiden said after we'd been swimming for a bit.
My arms were a bit sore, but I could probably swim for a bit longer.
Aiden and I dived down beneath the waves, the darkness of the ocean engulfing us.

Eventually, I could start to see a faint light.
"What is that?" I asked Aiden.
"That's the entrance to the Under Sea," as Aiden spoke these words my heart started to beat faster, we were finally going to arrive at the Under Sea, but I was also nervous, the queen of the Under Sea wanted to speak to me.
I followed Aiden into this underwater cave. Inside, sitting on a rock was a beautiful lady. She had long blonde hair that moved with the current. She was dressed in a beautiful blue V-neck chiffon lace dress with a ruffled skirt. Many necklaces were draped from her neck and bracelets clung to her wrists.
I was so entranced by her beauty that I almost didn't realize Aiden bending down in a bow.
"My Queen."
