When I got up on land I quickly shook off most of the water that dripped from my clothes and combed my hair with my fingers so it didn't look like I had almost drowned but instead I took a quick mid-October swim. That was too unnatural, right? I mean the water might be a little too cold for most humans but there's got to at least be a few who would still come out to swim during this time of year.
I pulled out the piece of paper from the satchel. All items made in the Under Sea are enchanted with a waterproof spell, I am glad for that because this paper would be ruined and I would never find my way to where ever this house I was going to be living in, is.
I somehow managed to find my way to the house which was addressed on the paper. It wasn't too big but not too small either, nice and modest so it wouldn't track any attention. I walked up to the front door and knocked. Soon after, the door opened and I was now looking at I guy in casual clothing, obviously an agent in disguise. But there was something about him, I almost recognized him but I couldn't quite figure out who he is.
"Aiden, is that you? Well, wouldn't you know! You're the agent covering this mission?" Upon hearing his warm, friendly voice, I instantly remembered who this guy was. This was Fredrick or Uncle Freddy, he's been an old friend of my dad's since way back when. I haven't seen him in a while though, I think the last time I saw Uncle Freddy was when I was eight.
"Uncle Freddy!" I said enthusiastically, happy to see a familiar face in an unfamiliar world. "It's been forever since I last saw you, and yeah I guess I am an agent, the one covering this mission at least."
Uncle Freddy led me inside, closing the door behind us. We went up the stair and down the hall. He opened the third door on the right, I peered inside, it seemed to be a bedroom. The walls were painted a very light shade of blue. The only things occupying the room were a twin-size bed, a dark oak wooden desk, and a small dresser, all of which were as equally plain as the walls.
"This room here will be your bedroom Aiden, it's not much but you can't really expect much from a house that's only ever occupied for a few months at a time, maybe a year or so."
"Wow, it's so much cleaned than my room at home could ever be," I say, chuckling.
"I'll let you unpack, then I can show you where the dryer is so you can dry off your clothes. I'll leave you be after that so you can work on your mission."
"Ok, thanks, Uncle Freddy."
I hung the satchel of money on the bedframe before unpacking what little I brought with me. Once I finished unpacking I brought my damp clothes that smelled of the ocean, that smelled of home, downstairs with me so Uncle Freddy could show me how to dry them, and I guess maybe wash them. Apparently, humans wash their clothes, we never needed to do that because we live in water, what purpose would washing them do?

After Uncle Freddy showed me how to use the washer and dryer, I went off on my way to a small clothes shop. I brought a little bit of money with me, unsure how much things cost here. I picked out a t-shirt and some shorts, along with a pair of "crocs", humans sure do come up with weird names for their shoes. I paid for the items and walked back to the house.
I somehow figured out how to use, what Uncle Freddy informed me of being, the shower, and I got the salty smell of the ocean out of my hair. I changed into the clothes I bought then went back downstairs where Uncle Freddy informed me of all the human etiquette and hygiene methods. Most of their etiquette was similar to ours so that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Once I had learned the basics, I set off on my way to explore the town. Uncle Freddy had given me a smartphone, so we could communicate, apparently, most humans owned one and did all sorts of stuff with it like play games, search up basic information everyone should know, and look at memes, whatever that was. At the moment, the smartphone was completely useless because I didn't know how to use it whatsoever. So I had just kept it in my pocket as I strode down the busy city roads.
I needed to find Antoinette, although there was a very likely chance that her name was changed, so that brings me back down to step one.
Along with my healing abilities, I had also some slight tracking abilities. I could figure out the relative location of a witch, but if I knew the witch on a personal level, I could pinpoint their exact location.
I followed my tracking senses to a school, the whole way there, people looked at me, it might've been because I was a newcomer but it was most likely due to the fact that it was an average Wednesday and I should be in school. I'll have to enroll later when I get back to the house.
So whoever Diana Ciro's daughter is, she goes to this school. I'll enroll here and hope that it takes me a relatively short time to find her. But if she knows anything about the world we live on, she probably knows how to hide her powers pretty well, whatever powers she may have.
