So basically I think that Stiles is way more capable than he lets anyone on because he's literally one of the only humans in the entire pack except for Mason in the later seasons so he's picked up a thing or two. Like people think that he's just a weak human or anything but the amount of times he has saved all of the collective packs asses is extraordinary. So I think like when Stiles leaves for college and they don't call him kind of like in the last season they all like "oh wow Stiles really planned everything we're all kind of screwed" and just like never learn to underestimate him because they were always like oh he's just a weak little human or whatever.
