I have been crushing on Gwen for 7 weeks now. We have always been close, but when I started having feelings for her I distanced myself. Of course I ranted to David.

"Hello my fellow co-counselors!" David said in his always cheerful tone.

"Heyo David" I said with a grin on my face.

"I found out that a new restaurant opened in Sleepy Peak so, Gwen are you free today?"

"Yes?" Gwen said confused.

"Amazing and what about you (Y/N)?"

"Yes I am David. Why?"

"Great! Well you two can go on without me. I'll help the campers." He said as he turned to leave. "Enjoy your date!" Then he was gone.

"Did he just-" I said shocked.

"Yeah. I didn't think he had it in him." Then she turned to me. "So wanna go on that date?"

"Hell yeah!"
