*Charles' P.O.V*
It has been a day since Nora "over-stimulated", as Hank called it, and I was getting worried. Eric knew this so he and I got our minds off of her by playing an innocent game of chess. I sighed as I leaned over to move one of my pieces,
"Cuba. Russia, America. It makes no difference. Shaw has declared war on mankind, on all of us. He has to be stopped."
Eric stopped moving his piece half-way and placed it back in it's original spot, "I'm not going to stop Shaw. I'm going to kill him."
"Do you have it in you to allow that?" I retorted.
"You've known all along why I was here, Charles. But things have changed. What started as a covert mission, tomorrow, mankind will know that mutants exist. Shaw, us, they won't differentiate. They'll fear us. And that fear will turn to hatred." He answered back at me.
"Not if we stop a war. Not if we can prevent Shaw. Not if we risk our lives doing so." I leaned back in my chair.
"Would they do the same for us?" Eric countered.
"We have it in us to be the better men." I said in a monotone voice.
"We already are. We're the next stage of human evolution. You said it yourself!" Eric's voice rose slightly.
"No..." I shook my head as I moved another piece.
"Are you really so naive as to think that they won't battle their own extinction? Or is it arrogance?" Eric smirked slightly.
"I'm sorry?" I blinked.
"After tomorrow, they're going to turn on us. But you're blind to it, because you believe they're all like Moira and even Nora." He started.
"And you believe they're all like Shaw. Listen to me very carefully, my friend. Killing Shaw will not bring you peace." I interrupted him.
"Peace was never an option. For me, or for Nora." He sighed in defeat.
Before I could say anymore, I heard a very loud thought from Hank's mind, "S-She's awake! CHARLES! Nora's awake! If you can hear me come to her room quickly as you can!" I bolted from my chair and smiled, "She's awake Eric."

*Hank's P.O.V*
I had been assigned by Charles to look after Nora and report to him if anything happened to her during her over-stimulation. Sadly, nothing has happened for almost 24 hours and I was becoming afraid that Nora would never wake up. All that was thrown away as I saw her lips turn from a deep purple to a fair pink. She was defrosting! She was waking up! I ran to her side and watched as the ice crept away from her face entirely and her eyelashes started to flutter open and closed. "H-Hank?" I heard her raspy voice and that alone sent me over the top. "Yeah it's me Nora. Just wait a second and I'll get Charles up here." I whispered to her. She smiled faintly and opened her eyes slightly, "I remembered one of my memories Hank. It was of my mother telling me about my step-brother. His name was Eric." I stared at her blankly as she continued, "When Charles gets here, if he has Eric with him, make sure that ONLY they come in.I don't want to tell everyone all at once." I nodded as thoughts flooded into my mind. "S-She's awake! CHARLES! Nora's awake! If you can hear me come to her room quickly as you can!" I thought as I rushed to the door to wait for Charles. I looked back at Nora to see the ice had now melted from half of her body leaving her legs still frozen solid. A minute later, I saw Charles running down the hallway with Raven and Eric in tow. I smiled as Charles got to me, "She's melting right now as we speak." Charles nodded but I stopped him before he went inside, "You need to know one thing Charles. She said she remembered a memory of her's and I think only you and Eric should see it." He nodded and gestured for Eric to come inside. I closed the door and walked downstairs knowing that Eric may not be the same afterwards.
