As we entered Hank's room, well what USED to be his room, we all saw a huge silver box laying in the middle of the tattered room. "What the hell happened here?" Eric exhaled. I too, wondered the same thing. What happened that would make Hank basically shred his entire room and all of his research to bits? Charles opened the box and read a large sticky note that was on top, "Meet me in the Weapon's Bay. From Hank. Well, Hank has been busy." He opened the box and showed it's contents to everyone. They were matching uniforms, all custom to each of us due to our completely different mutations. One had a disc in the front for Havoc, another had flaps that became wings for Banshee, and there were a few normal ones for Raven, Charles, and Eric. The one that made me gaze in wonder was my uniform. It looked similar to Charles' and Eric's except for a few subtle differences that I could see.

One, it had two slits in the back for my wings if I ever needed them to fight Shaw. Two, it had fingerless gloves while everyone else's had their whole hands covered. I made a mental note to thank Hank later for the last difference. As I felt the material when Charles gave me the uniform, it stretched along with me so I could run in the speed of light and transform into other people. Or animals. I forgot to tell Charles about that mutation but then again, he should know that I could shoot lasers out of my eyes if I was in the mood. Havoc groaned, "Do we really have to wear these?" "As none of us mutated to endure extreme g-force or being riddled by bullets, I suggest we suit up." Charles smiled as he gave the rest of us our uniforms. Mine fit like a glove and I pulled the zipper that lead all the way up to my neck down a little so I could breathe better when the time came to fight. Then again, would Charles ALLOW me to fight in the first place? I just hope that he won't try to stop me from hurting Shaw. It's one of the only things I've really wanted besides having a sibling and a husband one day. I shook my head, there wasn't time for such thoughts right now. But, maybe after the battle. Just maybe.

We reached the Weapon's Bay in a few minutes, even though I ran ahead to test out how my suit moves and stretches while I run. When the others arrived, I was sitting on the ground next to Hank's famous super-sonic jet plane. "Where is Hank?" I heard Raven ask.
Almost on cue, I heard Hank answer in front of us, "I'm here." When he came up to us, I knew that whatever happened to his room, happened because of how he had changed physically. Instead of having human flesh, he was now covered from head to toe in blue fur. He was also dressed in a similar uniform as us.
"Hank?" Charles gulped.
"It didn't attack the cells. It enhanced them. It didn't work." Hank sighed as he looked at Raven. He must of thought he found a cure to his mutation and it did exactly what it wasn't supposed to do!
"Yes, it did, Hank. Don't you see? This is who you were meant to be. This is you. No more hiding." Raven comforted Hank right as Eric placed a hand on his shoulder, "You never looked better, man." This seemed to tick Hank off because he then enclosed a clawed paw around Eric's throat.
"Hank!" Charles warned Hank.
"Don't mock me!" Hank growled.
"Hank, put him down immediately, please. Hank! Hank!" I yelled.
Hank immediately released Eric and left him gasping for breath, "I wasn't."
"Even I got to admit you look pretty badass," Hank turned to Havoc who was speaking, "I think I got a new name for you. Beast." To break the obvious tension that was surrounding Eric and Beast, Banshee asked, "You're sure you can fly this thing?"
Beast nodded, "Of course I can. I designed it."
As we boarded Beast's plane, I thought I heard a faint thought enter my mind, "Mom?" I sat down quickly and strapped myself in, "Who is this?" I thought to whoever it was. "You are my Mom. Shouldn't you know how I am?" It thought back at me. I then realized who was thinking to me. I quickly set up a mental barrier around myself so Charles wouldn't hear her. I was pregnant and hearing my child's, my daughter's, thoughts.
