*Nora's P.O.V*
*One Month Later*I smiled as I made the final touches on the house. This would be the house that would be open to mutants who need a place to stay. If I'm lucky, some of those mutants might even stay permanently and I could train them like Charles is probably doing right now. I sighed, I hope that he's okay. As I placed the door on the frame, I heard a yelp from behind me. I spun around to see a pair of twins that seemed to be around 13-14 years old, one boy and one girl. The girl had icy blue eyes and blonde hair while the boy had amber eyes and dark brown hair. The boy spoke up first, "Um.. Hi I'm Hugo and this is my sister Dakota. We heard a rumor that a woman named Nora was making a mutant sanctuary. Is that you?" I nodded, "Yes that is me. Where did you hear that rumor?" Instead of answering me, Dakota spoke before her brother, "We heard it from a mutant who had blue scales as skin and red hair and yellow eyes. I think her name was Mystique." I smiled, it was nice to know that Raven was sending mutants my way so that I could help them. I gestured to the house, "Well come on in. You can call me Chrome by the way." Dakota smiled, "Then you can call me Crystal and my brother Dozer." As we entered the house, I asked, "Why Dozer and Crystal?" Dozer smiled, "I have super strength and the ability to have diamond hard skin. Crystal because she can control ice. Why are you named Chrome?" I paused, "I have every mutation in me. That's why I call myself Chrome, since I'm a little bit of everything."
"Would you mind if we stayed here for a while Chrome? We don't have any parents." Crystal asked as she sat down on one of the couches. I shook my head, "It would be my pleasure to house you two here for a while. Here, let me show you two to your rooms."*Charles' P.O.V*
I sighed as I rolled downstairs in my new wheelchair. When Nora left, Hank realized that one of the bullets Eric deflected hit me in my spine so my legs are paralyzed. I miss her dearly. Hank, who was walking next to me, broke me out of my never ending whirlpool of thoughts, "Are you okay Charles? You seem, I don't know, out of it today?" I nodded, "I am Hank. I was just thinking about Nora. I wonder how she is doing." Hank bit his lip, "I'm sure that she is fine. Besides, we have tons of students to look after now. She probably is as busy as us. I've heard from the younger students that there is a rumor spreading about her sanctuary. She's taking in about two or three every other day by the sound of it. I wonder who started the rumor?" As soon as I started thinking, I knew the answer, "It must of been Raven. She was the only other one besides me and you who knew about her plans for a sanctuary." Hank gave a slight nod and went into a classroom. I stopped at one of the studies which had become my main office. When I closed the doors, I turned around to see Nora standing in front of me.
I rubbed my eyes, "N-Nora? Is that you?" As soon as I rubbed my eyes, she was gone. It was another hallucination. I had been having more of those the more I thought about Nora. I looked at my desk which had tons of documents strewn all over it. On one paper I had written "Into the Woods?". It was the last thing that Nora ever said, or thought, to me when she left from Cuba. I heard a knock at the door, "Come in." I muttered. It was Havoc, (I know that Havoc goes off to fight in the war but this is before the war happens.), "Can I come in Professor?" I smiled, "Havoc, you don't have to call me Professor." "I know," he gave a slight chuckle, "I'm used to it since all of the students call you Professor." He sat down in one of the chairs across from my desk and I realized he was holding a packet of documents, "What are those?" I asked. He placed them on my desk, "These are new theories from the older students about what," He paused, "About what Nora said to you in Cuba. One I find very interesting. It's on the top of the packet." I looked at the top paper to see a paper written by a Margo Hutchinson, "Maybe "Into the Woods" means that Nora's sanctuary is in a forest? Perhaps one that the Professor knows about or has been with Nora in?" I blinked, I didn't know of any forests that Nora and I went to. This theory was as interesting as it was false. I shook my head, "I don't know Havoc. I don't think that we are going to be able to find her." He stood up and clenched his fists together which gave off a red glow, "Stop saying that Charles! You, of all people, should know where she is! Couldn't you find her or one of her mutants via Cerebro?"
"I can't read her mind Havoc." I sat back in my chair, "Nobody could."
Havoc stared for a moment and then walked out of the room muttering, "Nora, why did you have to fall in love with Charles?"
Havoc then left the room leaving me in disarray. I shook my head and looked through the rest of the theory papers. As I looked through the last one, my eyes widened. It read, "Perhaps "Into The Woods" is simply a thought that I had when I wanted to give you a clue about where I would go after I left Cuba. So yes, I did go into the woods but where I will never say for the protection of my mutants." I looked to see the paper was written by Nora Harrison. I smiled, that seemed like something Nora would say if she was here. Then again, how could Nora get this paper to here without me seeing her? It was then that I saw a girl about 14 standing in front of me. She waved, "Hi. I'm Crystal. I was sent to deliver that paper if you're wondering." I blinked and gulped, "Are you one of Nova's mutants?" She shrugged, "You could say that." Before I could question her more, she teleported away.
