"Get over here, Julian!" A high-pitched voice calls over, causing all of our heads to look their way. Julian walks over and I follow, Destin and Ivy staying behind. The interviewer grins and says something, then holds the small microphone towards Julian. I step closer behind him and keep my eye open, ignoring the cloud hanging over my head. Or trying to.

Julian has already asked many times this morning if I was upset, I simply shook my head and gave him a smile, hoping he'd believe me. It's almost as if there's a huge rain cloud hanging over my head. I want to see julian as much as possible. i want to memorize his face, his smile and laugh, how he looks at me, the twinkle in his eyes, the way his hair falls on his forehead. i cant comprehend this is the last day I'll be with him. I want to run away far from here, give him a note explaining myself and spare him the pain. I'm torn.

"So did you-- oh! This is your new bodyguard, right?" I snap out of my panic and look up, seeing the lady and Julian both looking at me. Suddenly Julian smoothly puts his hand of the small of my back and gently pushes me next to him. I try my best to smile and not look constipated, but by the look on his face I fail. "Hi! I've heard that you're the best person in the business. Jade, was it?" I nod and Julian takes over.

"It's been a joy working with her, the past few months have been a lot safer." He smiles and the woman nods, not seeming satisfied.

"Now, I've heard of dating rumors between you two." Julian and me make eye contact and he smirks. "Caught a picture of you guys in The Bronx, and rumors you guys even spent the holidays together!" She holds the microphone in front of me and I stutter.

"W-well, I mean we kind of-"

"Y'all caught us, we've got a little thing going." Julian tugs me closer, twirling his finger in my dark, curled hair.

"Wow! So honest too, must be serious." She winks and we both chuckle. "This isn't affecting Julians safety? What happens if you two break up?" She urges.

"At least for now, I don't think that'll happen. Aren't you supposed to ask me about my albums?" He teasingly shuts her down and she smiles.

"How are you dealing with your album release and all these violent comments towards you?" I zone out again, overthinking all his answers. He so effortlessly told the entire world we're dating. What happens when they find out we're broken up? What happens when they find out he's dead?

Goosebumps form all over my arms.

After taking ore pictures and interviews, Julian and our team follow us backstage to prepare for his performance. The arena is huge, decked out with hundreds of green seats, tv screens, flags, and crowds of people lining to find their seat. Security is on edge, following Julian wherever he goes. After he's done powdering his face and someone touching up his hair, he changes into a unbuttoned shirt with red flames on them, a black tank top with a bedazzled neckline, ripped jeans with a diamond chain, and rainbow jordans. He looks fucking amazing.

"How do I look?" He says to me, walking away from the small vanity and playing with his shirt a bit.

"You look like the kid I'd be jealous of in high school." I smile and he laughs, his eyes sparkling.

"Is that a good thing?" I nod and he grins, nodding. "Securitys good, right?" I pick a piece of lint off his shirt and flick it away.

"You're safe, Julie." He smiles, takes a deep breath, and kisses my cheek. He mouths "I love ya," and runs towards the stage manager, putting on his mic. I close my eyes and focus, all we have to do is keep Julian safe, for now.
