*Julians pov*

My pencil scribbles along my notebook, the only light being the rising sun and purple sky outside my window. I look over at Jade, her face snuggled into my pillows and wrapped in the blankets. As if on cue, she flips over to the other side, and coughs. I look back down at my writing, hearing her yawn and sit up.

"What time is it?" She mumbles, yawning again. I check my phone and point it towards her, she nods and falls back into my bed. "Why are you up so early?" She questions, her soft voice filling the room.

"We have a lot to do today, it's the 5th." She groans and squishes her face together, making me smile.

"Why can't it be literally any other day." She whines. I set my notebook down and crawl into the bed, and under the covers, holding her in my arms.

"We'll be able to see each other later tonight, baby." She snorts and I blush, looking down at her.

"Sorry- I'm still not used to that yet." She smiles back at me and I lean down, placing a soft, sleepy kiss on her lips.

"We've gotta get ready soon, Jadey." I whisper, breaking the kiss and admiring her diamond eyes.

"But it's only 6."

"We've gotta be at the studio at 6:45." I say, glancing at my notebook across the room. Her eyes widen and she frantically jumps out of bed, running to the bathroom in only her panties.

"30 fucking minutes to shower and get ready!! I don't even have clothes or anything to actually do my job what the fuck!" She screams and I hear the shower turn on, and the slam of a door. I roll out of bed, sitting down on the small couch and continue to write in my notebook.

"Could we add some drums at this part...yeah right there. perfect." I clap my hands and cheer, everyone laughing along with me. The tempo of my song picks up and everyone nods their head, dancing in their seats a bit. "I want this song to be super...I don't know, Jax usually has the perfect words for this." I slap my forehead, trying to think of a word when one of the guitarists points his finger up.

"Groovy?" He calls out through one of the mics set around the recording room. I grin and nod, trying to think of what I was going to say.

Jax couldn't be here today, something about studying? I don't know, him and Ivy probably got bad hangovers or something. He's usually the one who gives me random ideas and helps add that sparkle some songs need.

"I want this to be a more groovy, funky song that makes everyone want to get up and dance. It's the last song on the album and I want it to go out with a bang." I sit up straight, a lightbulb going off in my head. "Can I just-" I stand up and walk back into the recording room, opening another door with instruments along the small hall. I grab a bell, and the triangle and walk over to our drummist. "Everytime I hit it, can you do a little.." I grab the drumsticks he set down and bang on them twice, handing them back to him.

"Yeah...yeah! That's gold." He agrees and I hit the bell, signaling him to hit the drum, I then hit the triangle, signaling him again. We high-five and I look at the producers, who are grinning.
