One week, one week since Elijah threw Elena to the cellar. She was not eating, she was not allowed to, only the vampire blood to keep her alive. She was aware that she was getting sick, physically. She was getting cold, she was shivering and her throat was hurting so badly, her bones were aching despite the blood she was having. She needed a real doctor to stay alive.

Eliza was well of her situation, and he was trying to alert his master yet Elijah seemed unbothered. "She will die, we need to do something" Elijah did not even answer his worries, he did not exactly have a problem with her dying, why would he? They all were better off without her! After all she was the key of the ritual. "Then she will die, and come back as a vampire and she will be useless"

"You really don't care about an innocent girl dying because of your feud with Klaus?" Elijah cleared his throat and closed his book this time. "It is more than a feud"

"Really? Because all I see here is your pettiness" Elijah sped to his vampire and held him in the chokehold. "You, Eliza, sometimes forget who is the sire"

"And you, sire, you seem to forget your morals in the name of a worthless revenge you have been seeking. What happened to the Elijah who swore to save the doppelgänger?"

"How can you expect me to give a damn about the girl who is rotting in our cellar, after Katerina? After she was raised by Katerina!" He let Eliza's collar off and Eliza looked at his sire sadly. He did not like Katerina, and how she drove a wedge between them, but it was all in past and this girl was not Katerina. "She is Klaus' mate"

"What?" Eliza asked in shock and Elijah nodded helplessly. The vampire looked down, desperate to find words in order to find a solution. "Are you sure?"

"I am" He did not ask how or why, he just nodded and looked at the blankness. "Does he know?" Elijah nodded his head slowly, which was concerning. Elijah never hesitated, that was his thing, but now he had his doubts. "He will come here, obviously, then take the girl"

"He won't, you will get the girl and flee when he comes in. I will handle him and you will kill the girl" Eliza looked at Elijah with shock, he could not possibly want him to kill an innocent girl. "Elijah-"

"I don't want to hear, that is the final decision, the one that is necessary" He then walked away, out of the house. Eliza just shook his head, not wanting to believe what was happening is real and Elijah had gone cold completely.

Klaus, in his house in Europe, screamed furiously as the witch informed him in that the girl was about to die. His brother was not even able to look after a human, how was he looking after himself?

The girl, she was beyond special than he could explain to anyone, was his mate. He did not care about the curse, he did not care about killing her from the very moment of feeling her presence. He could not lose it, he was not going to lose the one thing kept him sane and alive.

"How is she?" Rebekah asked, she sounded genuinely worried about the poor girl. Klaus shook his head and closed his eyes as he grabbed a drink. "Greta said she is dying" Rebekah closed her eyes as well, sighing sadly before opening them again. "And the locator spells?"

"All the witches are working on it. I don't know what to do anymore Rebekah" Blonde vampire embraced her brother and Klaus returned the hug. "We will save her, you have my word" Klaus just nodded, not adding more.

It had always been just two of them, from the very beginning, Rebekah was the only sibling who never met with a dagger through her heart. Klaus was her both mother and father through the years and Rebekah even helped him when he killed their mother.

It was an unbreakable bond between two siblings, none of their siblings had that kind of relationship. Elijah eventually grew stranger to them and somehow the strangeness between them turned into hatred. "Is it true that Katerina actually raised her?"

Klaus nodded his head and let out a chuckle. "She is nothing like Katerina, she is warm and kind. On the other hand, Katerina is a manipulative bitch" Rebekah nodded her head, could not agree more with his brother. No one who was carrying the Mikaelson surname liked Katerina Petrova, they more like hated her. "Elijah and Eliza were fool enough to fall for her"

"I can say, you cannot help who you fall for. It happens so quick for no reason"

"I will not agree on that. I believe we have some kind of power over who we are in love with" Rebekah smiled softly, thinking about her lover she left in New Orleans before her eyes drifted off to the window. "What you said would put poets into a great shame"

"Me, a poet myself, feels no shame of it" Rebekah just shook her head with amusement and did not say more. They just sat there in silence until one of the witches Rebekah could not name rushed into the living room. "We found her sir, they are in Chicago" Klaus stood up quickly and his sister followed him on his way. "I want the full address, now!"

The witch gave him the paper that address was written down and the pair spent no time to get in to car. "I told you, we are going to save her" Klaus smiled softly and let out a quiet chuckle with excitement. "We will"

And he was going to.
