When Klaus walked to the doors of the mansion in Chicago, as if he owned the place, it nerved Elijah in a way that stirred some inspiration to kill the doppelgänger so his order to Eliza was quite simple.

Take the girl, kill the girl.

Then the rest did not matter anymore, the doppelgänger would be gone and Klaus could never break his curse, the world and supernatural creatures would all be safe because of the balanced forces and powers.

Seemed like a mighty idea to Elijah Mikaelson.

"Come and show yourself, Elijah!" He had not been hearing his voice for the last few decades, it was funny how the things have turned. Elijah in his best suit, walked down to the door as Klaus looked at him with fury. "Hello brother, welcome. Why do not you come in? Unless you cannot?"

"You do trust yourself a lot, do not you?" Klaus stepped into the mansion and Elijah had to admit that it both impressed and annoyed him. "So your witches has been doing some working, how satisfying"

"You have someone that belongs with me, I simply want her" Klaus said it like it was too easy, he did not want to look weak. Elijah smiled and shook his head. "If only Niklaus, if only she was here! If only Eliza did not just took her to the forest to kill her, rip her heart or drink her blood"

Klaus sped to towards Elijah and threw him to the wall. "I will not repeat Elijah, where is the girl!" He looked mad, so mad, Elijah enjoyed the vulnerability under his furious facade. "Repeat all the times you want, she is in fact dead as -what do they say- doornail"

Klaus looked broken for a second before speeding to the cellars. It smelled like her, he did not have to be in her presence, the smell was taking him into itself. He looked around with rage full of eyes. "If something happens to her-"

"She is dead, Niklaus, if she is not, she will be within minutes. You overstayed your welcome, Talia deal with him please"

He collapsed but he did not remember a thing. When he finally opened his eyes again he was in a familiar bed, his bed, with his sister standing in front of him. "Good, you are up"

"That bastard! That bloody prick took her to God knows where!" Rebekah sighed and looked around with hopelessness. Her brothers fought before, but none of them ever bested the other that easily. "The girl" Rebekah said, her voice was holding a bit of uneasiness with the fear of overstepping her boundaries. "The girls renders you-"

"Weak? You think I am weak for taking this one single blow?"

"This was not a blow, Niklaus. This was a goddamn mistake, lack of strategy and the amount of unnecessary self confidence. It ran you down through the hill, and I am afraid that the hill is-"

"Losing her?"

"The hill is losing yourself and her along with yourself" Niklaus frowned as he stood up from the bed. "What do you advise, then?"

Rebekah crossed her arms, like whenever she was concerned and concentrated about an important agenda. "Maybe we shall ask for someone's help, someone we have been avoiding for the last three weeks-"

"Are you out of your damn mind, Rebekah! For God's sake, how can you possibly imagine that Kol would help us?"

"Everyone would help someone who has an upper hand" Klaus frowned and looked at Rebekah. "What upper hand?"

"Bring her!" Rebekah yelled to the compelled woman who owned the little house. An unconscious girl was brought in. "Drop her, please" The woman dropped the girl and left the room, leaving them alone as the girl was still unconscious. "Meet our upper hand, Kol's beloved"

"You kidnapped Kol's girlfriend? I doubt he would care about a girl, five of them would probably interest him tho-"

"The girl is carrying his child"

"Forgive the confusion, the girl is what?" Klaus asked as if Rebekah just told him that the girl was plagued and about to die. "She is pregnant, with Kol's baby"

"Kol is a vampire darling, so even his girl could not stand him and shagged someone else-"

"That's disrespectful"

"That's the truth, Bekah. Poor lad, get rid of the girl before Kol realizes her situation and kills her and the baby" Rebekah looked excited. "So you will wake him!"

"So much excitement in your voice for me to do opposite, suddenly it feels like I would sleep for a decade if I did not" He said in an amused tone which made Rebekah narrow her eyes. "But I am serious, I do not want a dead pregnant lady on my rug. Get rid of her before your blood sucker brother wakes up"

"I assure you Nik she is carrying Kol's child" Klaus narrowed his eyes. "Fine, whatever" He turned his back and walked to the door. "But I won't clean the blood stains for your information"

She just sighed and grabbed the girl.
