Isabelle and Clary are in Isabelle's room trying on clothes for Clary. After finding a 'decent' outfit for her to wear, the raven haired beauty goes to lay down on her bed. Clary uses that time to question her, "So, um, you, Alec and Jace are- what, like, family?"
Izzy chuckles in amusement at the 'indifferent' tone of voice, "Translation, you want to know if Jace and I are a thing."
Bonnie snorts, "She barely just got there and it shows Jace barely tolerates her,"
Clary backtracks, "Why would I care?"
"Because you do. Don't worry. In every way, he's like my brother. Our parents took Jace in when he was ten. We trained together. Learned to fight side by side." with Lia, she adds in her mind.
Vincent smiles, "That's nice,"
Clary fidgets, "A few days ago, all I had to worry about was getting into art school. And now-"
Izzy smiles amusedly and thinks of Aurelia, she so missed her best friend, she would know how to deal with the mundane used-to-be, "Is this the part where I give you the pep talk about harnessing your inner Shadowhunter and accepting your true destiny?"
"Was that the pep talk?"
Hayley rolls her eyes, "You get, what you get."

Izzy pushes a button and a shelf with weapons appears. Simon and Clary who were in the middle of a conversation pause, Clary whispers a 'whoa'.
Kol looks at Davina, surprising himself and his family, "I want one,"
Davina giggles and shakes her head. Kol once again surprises himself when he smiles at the sound. Hayley and Marcel first bump. Rebekah raises an eyebrow at the act.
Jace walks between the two, "No, Izzy." He hits Izzy's hand when she's about to touch one of the swords. Izzy rolls her eyes and ignores him, playing with the sword, "Fifty bucks says he doesn't approve this mission, and another twenty he is waiting for Lia to call and take his side so we can take their side."
"I don't approve of this mission." Alec appears out of nowhere, "Lia is not here, she would not approve of this mission. I spoke with The Clave. They're sending Seelie scouts to search for Valentine, but they made it clear, the little girl does not leave the premises." He states matter-of-factly, shooting an innocent smile to Izzy and Jace when they sent him an annoyed look at the Lia comment.
