Salvatore Boarding School
Elizabeth Saltzman walks to the middle of the field with the ball in her hand, she looks towards Kaleb and tells him, "Remember the game plan, Kaleb."
Kaleb rolls his eyes, "Girl, I used to eat townie scrubs like this for lunch." He starts walking backwards while continuing the conversation, "That's before I was a vampire. Why are we playing like this? Aurelia told me last year you guys won the championship, why are we faking losing to these townies?" He went ignored.
"Hey, why isn't Aurelia in school?"
The whistle blows, indicating the beginning of the game, making everyone get into position, looking at Kaleb, who had the ball on the field in front of him after Lizzy had put it down. Kaleb looks down towards it, to the opposite team, and back at the ball before running towards it at human speed and kicking it, making it fly halfway across the field. Everyone's eyes stay on the ball until it lands on one of Timberwolf's players, Connor's, arms. Everyone starts running, some running towards Connor, others away from him, and others defending Connor from those who were running towards him.
Dana, the one who had made fun of Lizzie for Alaric not being there, was one of the ones who ran away from her teammate. She stood on the other side of the field from him and yelled towards him, "Connor!"
The blonde player looked at her and threw the ball at the girl, she expertly coughed it. She immediately started running to the side of the opposite team, where the goalie was. She dodged MG who had jumped at her, making her let out a victorious "Yes!"
Unknown to her, MG was looking at her with a knowing smile, because he had deliberately miscalculated where he was supposed to land. Lizzie's eyes followed the girl before looking at MG who had turned to smile at her with a thumbs up for missing the girl. Lizzie just rolled her eyes at the vampire with a shake of her head.
"He just wants her approval." Caroline coos.
Across the field, Kaleb was looking at the exchange; he didn't hear Connor coming behind him until it was too late and the guy that pushed Kaleb, he purposely fell on the floor to hide his supernatural powers. When he was glaring daggers at the blonde he missed when Dana had run by him and scored, giving the first few points towards Mystic Falls High.
"What the hell." Damon said, "If it was me, that kid would be dead."
"No Damon, you can't kill people just because they push you." Elena said, with a disapproving tone, "Be the better man."
