He was willing to stay in bed all day, swaddled in the warmth of five different blankets, no cares in the world. His eyes clenched shut, his hands tugging the soft blanket closer to his chest, squeezing it in circles with his fingers. He tried to lull his mind back to sleep, he still felt the heavy feeling of tiredness in his eyes, but he couldn't seem to fall back into the calming state of sleep.

"What time is it," the omega mumbled, rubbing his eyes softly. He hasn't slept in since his heat, his body still felt heavy, aching from laying in bed all day. He brushed the knuckles on the right of his hand against his nose, scrunching it at the tickle he felt. He rolled his shoulders, numbing the ache that had settled in the middle of his upper back. His eyes searched the room for the brightness of his alarm clock, the sun had definitely risen, but thanks to his black-out curtains it was still dark enough for it to be hard to see. "Ten O'clock..." He mumbled to himself, he should probably get up.

He turned, pushing the blankets over his body. He instantly flinched back, it was definitely a cold winter's morning. The chill of the simmering cold slid across his skin creating goosebumps along his exposed arms and legs. He crossed his arms, feet pressing against the cold hardwood floors, and he inhaled sitting up. Tipping his head and upper back a bit so he could crack it, unleashing the tension.

He felt like he should be remembering something, as he walked to the bathroom to brush his teeth his mind seemed to be missing something. He squeezed the toothpaste hard, trying to get out what was minimally left, he really should buy more but he didn't know if he could afford it by now. As he brushed his teeth he caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror, sighing slightly. As he rinsed out his mouth he wondered, he could swear it on the tip of his toe he was forgetting something important. Did he have something he was supposed to do today?

He walked out after changing into something to fight the cold, plaid pajama pants and a basic long-sleeved white shirt, covering his smaller frame liberally. He walked past the kitchen flicking on the living room light.

He shut his mouth tight, pressing his lips together. Laid out, splayed across the different sofas and even the floor were multiple alphas, some cuddling, some sleeping alone. Now he remembered, his sleep haze had dissipated and he stood there dumbfounded, how could he actually forget his once cute adorable puppies turned into this?

A sigh left his lips, flicking back off the lights, he wasn't exactly prepared to talk to them just yet. He still didn't exactly know the best way to go about this, he couldn't just throw them to the wayside and hope for the best. Keeping them at the house was his only current option, he'd figure something out later, he was too hazy right now too.

Should he make them breakfast? He didn't know why he thought that caring for them hadn't crossed his mind, they weren't puppies anymore, and they couldn't just eat dog food. It explained why they never did when they were puppies, a lot more puzzle pieces clicking into place. Pushing his chilled hands into his pockets he made his way to the kitchen. He didn't have much, when he got his paycheck from working online he would definitely go out and buy more food, and clothes for some of them. He didn't want to but he would probably have to ask for money help through Yugyeom's pack, unlike him, they were fairly well off.

He slid on the kitchen tiles, his socks like figurative ice skates, stopping himself by gripping the fridge. He opened it, what the hell did they like? They clearly liked ramen, but he was out. His hand brushed through his messy locks of hair, sticking up in different directions from the rolling around he did in his sleep.

The omega made a mental note to ask the alphas what they liked. God, why did he even care what they liked, what was going on with him? He had to blame it on something, blaming it on his omega's instinct need to nurture, they were still his puppies, just much taller and bigger than him, and in many ways...
