Jungkook's breath hitches, watching Chanyeol glide over to them effortlessly on his feet.

He should've known better than to keep looking over there but he couldn't help himself, he was always the curious type and he knew that. Eventually, after so many quick glances Jungkook's neck was beginning to hurt. He made accidental eye contact with Chanyeol. Jungkook knew the minute the alpha's eyes narrowed he was in trouble, quickly chucking his head down to look at the food under the food court table.

Jungkook was woefully unprepared for the confrontation he was going to have to deal with. Jimin must've noticed his sudden change in behavior, as he was easy to read. Quickly looked up to spot the alpha walking over to them, having the familiar smell of Sehun surrounding him. The pack knew about Sehun, but the rest of his pack they weren't exactly aware of as they never met any of them in puppy form.

"Hyung," the shortest alpha mumbled, causing Namjoon's focus to immediately shift from the conversation with Hoseok to the alpha coming closer to their table. Namjoon stood up quickly followed by Jin, Jungkook watched the two. Chanyeol came to a halt at their table, "Jungkook Sehuns not gonna be happy when he sees this." 

So? He wanted to say, he broke up with Sehun and the beta had the audacity to smack an omega. That was a huge no-no to Jungkook and besides that, he never really liked Sehun to begin with, everything, even his smell wasn't enjoyable to Jungkook. Betas were supposed to have faint scents yet every time Sehun was near it invaded Jungkook's nostrils like a body mist with too much alcohol smell to it.

"We broke up, I still have the cut on my cheek from his ring actually," Jungkook stated matter-of-factly, pointing to the nearly healed cut on his cheek.  He was glad the alphas didn't intervene, just watching the two interact carefully, most likely not wanting to jump right in and cause Jungkook more trouble than help. Jungkook just wanted to talk his way out of this. He didn't need help just yet, and if he did he was sure they would jump right in.

Chanyeol scoffed shaking his head, "You really hurt Sehun. We had to comfort him for days, he had courting you for so long." Jungkook shook his head, side-eyeing Jimin to see the smaller one getting increasingly frustrated over this situation...

"Well, I'm sorry I hurt him," no he wasn't. "I am not interested in a relationship right now, I would like to focus on studies and school." Chanyeol crossed his arms, eyes glazing over every alpha behind Jungkook, then looked at Jungkook. "Are you a whore, student council pres?" 

Jungkook felt his heart drop to his feet, face hurt,  hearing Namjoon mutter something to Jin. Probably something about telling the other boys not to intervene if Jungkook had to guess. "They aren't like that, they are just friends." He knew Chanyeol wouldn't believe him, that the member of Sehun's pack would go spewing about Jungkook and the six handsome alphas to anyone he could come across.

"Really..." the almost terrifying alpha muttered, his crossed arms tensing. He looked up at Namjoon, who out of the six had the strongest alpha pheromones. "So he is not your omega?" Jungkook knew Chanyeol was not stupid, he was on the student council after all. He was trying to see if Jungkook was lying. No alpha in their right mind with an omega would ever say yes to that, even if it was to protect the omega. Jungkook could see Namjoon's pouty-like lips press into a thin line. Jungkook was glad the answer was Yes, he just wondered why the alphas seemed so tense by his question.

"No, he is not my omega," Namjoon was defensive through his gritty teeth. Jimin took Jungkook's hand his firm grip steady. Pulling him backward toward the alphas, just by a little bit, so Jungkook was closer to the alphas than he was to Chanyeol. The shortest has a hard time hiding his protective nature. Sure Jungkook wasn't their omega, and he wasn't an omega in Yugyeom's pack either, yet they were just as protective of him as Namjoon's strange pack was.
