You were fully punching with your finger on his torso as the word kept getting out of your mouth. It was playful and the tone was setting down. The storm was flooding a way to let the sun shy, the rainbow not far from being seen. At least that's how your heart was feeling right now. The big storm that was sitting on your shoulder was disappearing, the heavy rain in your heart, letting poodles set before trying with the flame in your heart fully restored. No clouds in sight and the light sensation travelling your body could have given you wings. Great metaphor used by both redbull and you .... great maybe there is still some cumulus around hanging on.

" I left you a letter ... you didn't see it ? "

What fucking letter was he talking about, there were no letter in that room or you would have remember.

You were searching in your head, in every box in memoryland, trying to find any little detail that could have led you to this certain letter somewhere in the hotel room or anywhere else.

" I gave it to your friend, I don't remember his name and I didn't give a shit at the time. He saw me leave the room. I wanted to leave the letter at the hotel reception, when you would check out, but this dude told me he would personally give you the letter. He was suspicious though, I should never have given him this letter and trust my guts and my first instact to leave that letter to the reception. Who is the idiot now ... I should have known "

Oh my god, you were connecting the dots, that dude wasn't just a simple dude, it was an old fling you had before that wedding, it was old for a couple months but this ùan was still trying to get on with you after multiple efforts to push him away. He was invited to the wedding as well because he is a colleague of Daniel's friend. You meet after an evening where you all gathered for a birthday party. You should have known by the face and the way he was assuring you that day that he knew something you didn't. That asshole was literally the one telling you that Daniel had left and now knowing he had the letter that could have changed everything between you and Daniel.

" That asshole if I see him again one day, I'm destroying his motherfucking face !! "

Daniel jumped back, surprised by the veracity of your words, realising that you knew exactly who he was talking about.

You were trying to calm down, looking at Daniel and his eyes lighting up at how defensive you had become, showing hope for an unsaid future between you was literally stopping that sudden rage in you.
