Chapter 12

" You were running towards the ocean, running away from Daniel as he was trying to throw some algae at you.

" Oh come on look, they aren't that bad !!! "

" Get away from me Danny, I don't want that near me "

You jump in the water, head first with your tshirt on. Thankfully you had your bikini under it. Your best friend was quick to follow you, throwing away the algae, finding a new way to annoy you now that you were both in the water.

He dives and finds your legs, grabbing them to make you lose balance and making you drown before catching you and bringing both of you back to the water surface.

" Fucking hell Daniel, you know I hate when you do that, let me go "

You were properly upset at him now, but the more you were hitting his arm for him to let you go, the more his grip against your waist was tightening.

You would be lying to yourself if the feeling of his hands on you wasn't making you go crazy and sending you all kinds of signs from your stomach to your subconscient. Your bodies were close and there weren't any escaped and you don't even know if you will be able to hide the attraction for him for very long.

Daniel was bringing you even more closer to him, the white t-shirt that was covering you, wasn't hiding anything much now and Daniel got rid of it. His mannerisms were so sensual and delicate, taking the wet fabric so carefully in his long fingers, detaching your skin as he passed it over your arms and head. Your arm moved on their own, he didn't ask you, you were obeying his unsaid order. Of course you wanted to resist him, but your body had another idea in mind.

It wasn't the usual playful moment like you had multiple times in the past, this one was different. After that first kiss you shared, something in your friendship dynamic changed, he changed as well, his behavior towards you was more ambiguous now and you couldn't help but let yourself react to him the exact same way.

Clearly Daniel was turning all these eeenagers arousal feelings on, the pit of your stomach was harshing and every one of his touches was creating electricity between you.

You didn't want to hope for anything,but it was making the process of forgetting what happened between you very hard when he does things like this.

His eyes were focussed on you, but you could see them lowered toward your lips. You don't think your heart has ever raced this much before, you were starting to believe that all he wanted to do was erase the gap between you and seal your lips together like the first time you kissed.

" You should have go in the water in the first place, you know I like to tease you "

His large hands were caressing the side of your body, he knew exactly what he was doing, damn Ricciardo and his experience in flirting. You were a rookie compared to him, nobody was trying to flirt with you at school, you bet Danny was making sure of that but you didn't know why. Or maybe everyone was assuming you were with him already. The thought of you and Daniel as a couple was sounding wrong in the back of your mind honestly, it would actually be the logical step after spending all of your childhood together. Everyone in your both families was expecting you to end up together by now.

His fingers were now retracing every course the drop of water had on you, cautiously exploring the skin on your neck. Your eyes find themselves shut, your hands landing on his shoulder, holding on to him to save yourself from drowning one more time.

It was more a metaphor this time, you were drowning but in a different kind of area. Water has been replaced by feeling and sensation now. Your sexual attraction for him taking over every inch of your cells. It is common knowledge for you that you didn't care about anything anymore, about who could find you or if the two of you were alone at this moment. You find the nap of his neck, playing with his wet curls on the back of his head, interlacing your finger in them and gently closing your fist on them.
