Tony sat back in his office chair as he puffed on yet another cigar. A knock on the door made him close his eyes and sigh in frustration. "Come in, Tommy."

"You wanted to see me?" Tommy's gruff voice sounded chirpy and happy which only added to Tony's annoyance.

"Sit," Tony barked as Tommy nodded and closed the door behind him. Tony held out his humidor and Tommy leaned over with a nod of gratitude and lit a cigar. Tony was silent for a few moments and Tommy didn't seem to look uncomfortable. That was one thing Tony always admired about Tommy; he never seemed to be bothered by anything. Tony admired that, but it also made him slightly nervous.

"So?" Tommy asked, leaning further back into his own chair and making himself comfortable.

"There's something I want to run by you." Tony started but took another long pause before continuing. He hated feeling like this. He had never been the type of person to get flustered. But lately, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. It had started when he had seen Frankie again. He couldn't understand it but seeing her, looking so good and strong, it was like she was a new woman, determined and so unbelievably sexy. It had been all he had thought about. But there was something plaguing him. On the one hand, it didn't surprise him that she had came back. He knew she still had feelings for him and he had to admit, he enjoyed seeing her beg like that. But she seemed like a different person now, she had seemed to move on from the complete mess of a young woman she was all those years ago. He didn't really know why she wanted to work for him, again. He was happy she did but also a bit suspicious and this was making him anxious.

Tony stood up from his desk and walked around to the other side of the table and sat down directly in front of Tommy. "Someone stopped by my office the last night. Someone looking for a job."

Tommy raised his eyebrows in confusion. "Okay? And?" Tommy's face contorted when he saw Tony shoot him a look of warning to watch his tone. This man may be good, but Tony was in charge and demanded respect.

"Sorry, Tony. I'm just confused. Why are you talking to me about this? We all know you're the boss, here." Tommy's snivelling voice made Tony smirk with satisfaction before he continued; "This person, woman, actually is someone I have a history with but I wanted your advice before I hire her."

The look on Tommy's face was comical. How this man was so powerful in Ireland, Tony could never understand. Tommy Ryan was a brute and was one of best that's ever worked for him but sometimes he could be so fucking stupid. "I wanted to ask you if you think it would be a good idea to hire her. She wants to work as an accountant. She had a drug problem years back and a really fucking smart mouth that got her into trouble plenty of times. But now she seems to have grown up and matured into a fine woman. I have work for her, of course. She can do the books a day or two here, but if memory serves, she was also one of the best dealers I had when I was just starting out. With business booming, now, and the threat of the cartel growing in Boston, it couldn't hurt to have more people I can trust on board, don't you agree?

Tommy nodded, fervently as Tony started to walk around the office, slowly.

"But the problem is, I don't want any tension within my outfit, I've worked too fucking hard to have anything jeopardise my organisation. It won't be long before we run the Mexicans and that prick O'Shea and his pathetic crew out of business and this town will be run by me." Tony's voice sounded calm and even but there was a look in his eye that was making Tommy uneasy for the first time in a long time.

"I must admit, I did when my doubts when you came looking for work. But after hearing how much you wanted to take Aidan O'Shea down, I knew it would be a good fit. You're a good worker, Tommy. Vicious and fearless and with young Michael by your side, I have no doubt that we will be the most powerful men in this entire state. You are here as my personal confidant, Tommy. This woman, although I am embarrassed to admit, still has a particular hold on me, even after all these years. I want her by my side, again and I truly feel that she will be good for business. She's smart and I know we can use her well."
