CHAPTER THIRTEEN
CHIMERA PACK"I've got some questions before we continue." Stiles said. "Maybe a couple hundred but I'll stick to the more important ones."
"Go on then." Thea sighed.
"What did you use to bring Corey and them back to life?" Stiles asked. "And how did that work? I'm curious."
"Me, too." Corey admitted. "Am I like a zombie? Having died and came back to life? I don't think I want to be a zombie. I don't think being a zombie would be fun."
"You'd be the cutest zombie ever." Mason told his boyfriend who blushed.
"No, no... you're not a zombie." Thea said slowly. "If you're a zombie, then so are Scott and Peter."
"You know about me?" Peter asked curiously, a smirk teasing at his lips.
"She knows about all of us, the little stalker." Stiles said dismissively. "You're not special. Anyway, answer my questions, Dora."
"It was just what the Doctors used to prolong their own immortality, and keep Der Soldat with them since the end of the war." Thea said.
"You didn't know if it would actually work, though." Stiles told her and she raised an eyebrow in question. "You looked... nervous, or as close to that as you can be, after you injected Tracy to see what happened."
"I was pretty confident it would work." Thea said. "But if it didn't I'd have figured something else out. That was my plan B... if that failed I'd have moved onto plan C then D... and you know the alphabet, right?"
"So, a quick recap." Peter started. "This brilliant girl knew Scott and Stiles when they were kids and she turns back up as a chimera pretending to be a werewolf and gets under all of your skin and manages to do the one thing many people before her have tried and failed to do... kill Scott McCall and break apart his pack. Anything else?"
"No, that's pretty much it." Stiles grumbled.
Nobody else had anything to say, so Thea's memories kept playing before their eyes.
Thea took her new pack back to her now empty house, since her pretend parents had deserted, and told them they were welcome to stay there with her if they needed it.
Hayden and Josh denied, the former who still had her sister and the latter who's parents would be too curious if he suddenly left. Corey and Tracy, however, seemed relieved and pleased by the offer.
"Things aren't going to be easy for a while." Thea told them. "But we'll be okay, as long as we stick together."
"Does that involve killing each other?" Josh asked boldly, coming out of his shocked state before the others.
"I'm sorry?" Thea said confused.
"I remember." Josh told her. "It was you and that Stilinski kid."
"I'm older than him." Stiles looked offended.
"You killed me." Josh said loudly. "You ripped out my throat."
"The Doctor's would have killed you, Josh." Thea told him. "You were going to die either way."
"You didn't even hesitate."
"I know." Thea said. "I gave you a quick death, Josh. The Doctor's would've gave it to you in most painful way possible. You should be grateful that I found you first."
They all flinched and Thea realised that probably wasn't the best thing to say if she wanted them to all be on our side.
"Listen, I've known the Doctor's since I was seven." Thea told them.
