Sorry for not posting for so so long... Lots of things sort of happened at once in life sort of leaving me in this state of blobbyness from stress... Parents separating, boyfriend dumping me, and school problems. Anyways, I hope you like this guys. Hey maybe my stress translates well through writing...? Eh, dunno.

Chester's Prospective

I heard Star firing her gun outside wildly. Another group of dead must have come here again. Twice this week though was rather odd since normally there was only one normally. I should've realized sooner that something was up when the firing suddenly stopped and Star was yelling.

"HEY, GUYS GET OVER HERE! I FOUND SOMEONE!"

Everyone in the group was stunned to hear this, except me. Most of the group had believed that everyone in the city had left. I told them of the original group I had came from and they told me they had most likely moved on due to food becoming scarce. I didn't want to believe it. Mike, Brad, Rob, and Dave wouldn't leave me here, would they? No, this person Star must've found may be from my old group. I ran outside to investigate.

"Chester it's a girl," Star said quickly as soon as I stepped out of the door. I stared at her for the moment then looked at all the bodies. So many dead were on the ground. Only one was standing. It was a girl. Short black hair, blue eyes, strong stance, it was Midnight. Her hair may be short but I know her face anywhere.

"Midnight!" I yelled as I opened the gate quickly and started running towards her. I was so happy to see her. I had so much to tell her about what had been going on. I began to realize she was covered in blood. Blue blood. "Oh no," I whispered to myself as I got to her.

"Chester...?" I watched as her body went limp and fall onto the ground. I could see a hole in her back. I looked back at Star for a moment. She had shot Midnight. This was no time to yell though. I knew if I didn't hurry Midnight would die. What would we do if she did die? Chester, keep your cool. Midnight's muscles twitched as they lost control from the obvious pain she was experiencing.

"Star get some cloth. Now."

Star arrived behind me with a bunch of cloth in her arms and dropped it into mine. I wrapped them around Midnight as fast as humanly possible and picked her up. We wouldn't have long before the blood would soak through the cloth. I ran into the building with a young boy named Max held the front door open.

"Damn it, Max, we told you a hundred times to stay away from fights before you get your stupid ass hurt!" I heard Star yell behind me.

"Hey I was just holding the fucking door for him!" he yelled back.

"Ugh! I'll deal with you later!" she shot back and then I heard her running footsteps catching up behind me.

I took a turn to the nearest hallway and burst through the door to the kitchen and sat Midnight down on the table. I searched around in panic through all the doors in an attempt to find the bandages, wipes, and heavy duty tweezers. I knew I didn't have enough time to clean the wounds much. I only needed to wipe up the blood and cover the hole before she dies.

I carefully rolled her onto her stomach and pulled her shirt up right above the point of bullet entry. I reluctantly grabbed the tweezers and shined a flashlight I had on my belt in the hole. I could see a glint of silver. It was only a few millimeters from hitting her spine. Carefully I brought the tweezers down and pulled out the bullet then began frantically started wiping all the blood up trying not to get any on me. I got most of it off then began putting as much bandaging needed over her wound. She would still be slightly still bleeding inside.
