So some of you may have heard the news of what happened to the lead singer of Linkin Park as of this morning (July 20th, 2017).  It's currently 7:02 when I'm writing this so It's been some hours since what occurred well... occurred.  If you haven't heard what happened to Chester Bennington I highly recommend not reading on and look up online what happened.  I feel I'm not the one to address this to people.  I'm not the one to be breaking the news to people.  So please, if you don't know what has happened yet take a few minutes to look it up before reading on.  Thank you.  (I left a lot of space between this introductory paragraph and the rest to avoid people accidentally reading ahead if they didn't know ahead of time the news)

So, I learned this morning that the lead singer of Linkin Park, Chester Bennington, had committed suicide.  When I was told the news I didn't know what to think.  I just instantly looked up some sources to make sure it was real and not some overblown hoax.  Soon as I realized that it wasn't a hoax I couldn't really do much but cry.  Now, it is obvious I'm a big fan of the band Linkin Park.  They have been my favorite band for about 6 years.  This news hit me really hard and probably a lot of you as well.

For those of you who read this for entertainment and wasn't a fan of Linkin Park, Chester was a brilliant man.  A creative genius with his music and a kind man in heart.  He had a rough childhood and I have a lot of respect for him for turning out such a kind person even after dealing with the harsh bitterness of this world we live in.  He let out his frustrations through music.  Obviously, it wasn't just Chester who created all the music, but he played a huge role nevertheless.  I know for a fact he would want everybody to remember him for the good he did and not for his tragic death.  At the end of this address to my readers, I will be leaving links to music of his as well as videos of him showing him at his best.

If any of you are having a rough time I'm always willing to talk.  In times like these, we need to stick together strong.  Suicide isn't the answer.  I struggled with depression myself as well as anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD (predominantly hyperactive).  So please, if you ever have thoughts of self-harming, harming others, or suicide, talk to somebody.  It doesn't have to be me you talk to but a friend, a parent, a counselor, just somebody who can maybe help.  Suicide isn't the answer.  Hurting yourself isn't the answer.

As for Light, to be honest, I have no idea if I'm going to continue writing after these events unfolding. If I don't I will at least do you guys the liberty of finishing the chapter I was working on last. I hope I will still finish this story for you guys though. For those of you who have stayed this long I have so much respect and love for you.

Thank you so much for following the story Light. <3
