"What a beautiful day..." you sighed in satisfaction, stretching your arms out as you stepped out of the car.
You looked around in excitement, your eyes twinkling as you gazed at the busy airport.
The others filed out of the vehicle as well, feeling the pleasant warmth of the sun beating down against their skin.Well everyone other then Mr. Cranky Pants Kujo who only sighed in response to your chirping the entire way to the airport.
"What's with the sighing grandson? Smile for once." Joseph said, smacking the teen's back.
Jotaro grumbled something under his breath, stuffing his hands into his pockets.
"It's okay Mr. Joestar. Kujo over there is pissed that my mom didn't back him up." you announced, raising your head high with pride.
(flashback)
"Egypt?" your mom asked, cocking an eyebrow at you.
You avoided eye contact, crossing your arms over your chest. He would win.
Again.
"My (Y/n)? Going to Egypt?" she snorted in disbelief.
God damn it.
A smirk was tugging at the corners of Jotaro's lips as he waited for your mother to mercilessly shut your reckless idea down.
She put her hands on her hips letting out a heavy sigh. You held your breath in anticipation while Jotaro grinned triumphantly.
"I'll allow it." she said.
Jotaro fell into a coughing fit and your eyes went wide as you gaped at her.
"WAIT REALLY-"
"Ah ah ah my little petunia. Keep your mouth shut for a second." your mom demanded, cutting you off.
You dropped your head in surrender once again, waiting for her to continue while Jotaro continued to choke on his own spit.
"You are doing this with the intention to help Holly and that is something that I cannot stop you from. Also, I expect you to behave and listen to the adults that will be present. In addition you will be checking in with me as often as you are able to do you understand me?" she rambled on, waving her hands as she spoke.
You nodded your head in compliance while Jotaro silently stood beside you, utterly appalled.
You saw the tears forming in your mother's eyes and immediately felt the guilt begin to hit you.
"Thank you mama. Really." you said, walking up to her.
Her facial expression softened and she immediately pulled you into a doting embrace.
"My little girl is growing up. I need to let you be who you want to be..." she whispered gently, stroking your hair.
As she held you in her arms, she looked towards the tall boy who was watching the exchange with a troubled expression.
"Jotaro." she said his name.
The boy looked up to meet her warm eyes with his apprehensive ones.
"You take care of my (Y/n). Okay?" she said sweetly, giving you a peck on the forehead.
"I don't need his protection mom-mph!" you groaned but she quickly muffled your voice with her hand.
