"Thank you for dinner and for helping me, Seiko!"

You adoringly embraced the blonde woman, feeling content from the delicious meal and your patched up wound.

"Of course my dear. You know our home is your home."

She sweetly ruffled your hair as you finally released her from your hug. You beamed up at her before turning to Avdol, Joseph and Kakyoin.

"Have a wonderful evening, I'll be seeing you all soon."

You bowed politely and smiled at each of them. Avdol gave you a polite nod and Joseph grinned brightly, bidding you a good night as well. Your eye contact lingered as it locked with Kakyoin's and you gave the boy a small wave. "Take care of yourself."

His face heated up a bit as he smiled back at you, nodding curtly.

"Will do."

You reached your hand out and touched his pink hair, your finger delicately tracing over the bandage on his forehead. You frowned a bit and the boy eyes widened. He couldn't take his eyes off of you as you examined the place where the wound was.

"Joot's mom is lovely so you will be well taken care of." you said to him.

The boy only nodded in response.

You waved at him was when you felt someone grab onto your uniform and drag you backwards.

"Alright let's go."

He disregarded your protests and pulled you all the way outside. You groaned as he finally released you. "Hey, what the hell?!"

You shouted after him, he was already by the damn front gate.

You grimaced, rolling your eyes. He was so hot and cold. One moment he was being all doting and concerned and the next he was LITERALLY dragging you out of his house while you were in the middle of a conversation.

He turned back nonchalantly his hands stuffed in his pockets as he did. "Are you coming or what?"

"I can walk home by myself."

You grumbled the words to which he deadpanned at you."Like hell you are. Let's go."

You sighed, and as usual, you gave in, complying to his demand. You dragged your feet as you walked beside him.

You continued blabbing on as the boy shortened his strides in order to match your pace. He grinned to himself, feeling content. Jotaro could only sigh as he looked down at you frowning and complaining as always.

For a moment, everything felt normal again.

How he would cherish those moments.

"Mom I'm home!"

Within seconds your mother had pranced over to entrance to greet both you and Jotaro.

"Sweetheart! Jotaro!"

She clasped her hands together jovially and dragged you both inside. Jotaro gave her a polite nod, his hands still stuffed in his pockets as you all stood in the front parlor.

"Good evening Hoshiko."

His voice was monotonous as he spoke but your mother smiled brightly at him, having completely adapted to his stoic and blunt ways over the years. She came up to you and pulled you into a doting embrace, smoothing out your hair with her slender fingers.

"You're barely ever home sweetie- I miss you so much! I guess I'll let it slide considering you're spending time with my future son-in-law."

Your eyes widened and you heard Jotaro fall into a coughing fit behind you at her flippant words. You felt your face heating up at an alarming rate while your mother was still holding you tight, trapping your head against her chest.
