How did you end up in this position?
Your back pressed against the door, his body so close to yours while he held your gaze with his mesmerizing eyes. You probably suffered of cardiac arrest ten times over in that very spot as you looked up at the boy with wide eyes. Your lips parted as the blood rapidly rushed to your cheeks.
"You just can't listen when I tell you stay back, can you? You're going to get yourself killed one of these days..."
His tone was dangerous.
"And also why...Why didn't you tell me you could see Stands?!"
You had to take a deep breath before you could even find the right words. How could he expect you to be able to form coherent words when he had you pushed up against the door like this. His stupidly handsome face was so close as he leaned down enough to be able to meet your eyes.
The effect he had on you was terrifying. You quickly looked down, trying to figure out a response.
"Why didn't you just tell me?" he repeated, and you could tell he felt bad for his previous tone.
The look in his eyes somewhat shifted into a pleading one in place of the previous vexation. You sighed, the close proximity and the feeling of his hot breath fanning over your face making your anxiety exacerbate significantly. You searched his eyes and he did the same to you.
"This is all crazy to me too you know? Please understand that I still don't know how to feel about anything that has occurred, and it has been a lot."
He opened his mouth to reply, but he didn't end up saying anything.
He knew you were right.
You frowned a bit, just as you remembered something else.
"Hey... also you're no one to be telling me that I am going to get myself killed. Let's not forget yesterday."
Jotaro cocked an eyebrow, perplexed as he attempted to piece together what you were referring to.
"Yesterday?"
You grimaced and ducked underneath his arms, slipping away from his entrapment.
"Yes Jotaro. Yesterday."
(flashback)
"What the hell are you doing?"
You stopped in your tracks, your eyes wide as you witnessed Jotaro in the prison cell, pointing a gun at the cowering officers through the bars. His hat was on the ground beside his feet. The boy whipped his head around to look at you, a troubled expression on his face.
It was a bizarre scenario to walk in on.
He looked at you with what seemed to be an apologetic look prior to turning back to the officers and a disquieted Seiko. You made your way over to the frantic blonde woman, her face carrying evident despair. You tenderly rubbed her shoulder in order to soothe her as your eyes remained glued to the black-haired boy.
You looked between him and his mother with a perturbed expresion.
"(Y/n), He says he is possessed by an evil spirit and won't come home with me." she said to you.
You immediately glowered at Jotaro, taking a few steps forward, your hands grasping the rusting metal bars. He gazed right back into your eyes, his expression stubborn before the anticipated argument even began.
"C'mon, get out of there..." you said, hoping he would just agree. (of course he wouldn't)
The boy shook his head to you (stingy as always) and glanced at the officers before speaking in a low, gruff voice.
