You weren't sure exactly what it was that woke you up. The plane was quiet as the majority of the passengers were fast asleep. It wasn't a noise that caused your eyes to open despite how hard of task that was in this moment.

It was the feeling.

The air was heavily littered with an unbearable discomfort, a tension that sent shivers running up and down your spine.

You forced your heavy eyelids to open, slowly looking down. Your heart pattered a little too fast for your liking when you saw Jotaro's fingers still intertwined with yours. However, the only thing that was soothing your current nerves was the gentle circles he was rubbing with the pad of his thumb over your knuckle.

He was awake too.

You turned your head, not daring to speak. When your eyes flickered up, you saw his flawless profile as he looked ahead, his expression pensive. He looked disconcerted and you could immediately sense that something was off.

Then you heard it.

The buzzing.

Your eyes quickly scanned the surrounding area but it was difficult to catch a glimpse of anything out of the ordinary. Naturally, you wouldn't be able to spot something as small as a bug in such a dim area however no ordinary fly would be the cause of such a loud buzzing.

You looked ahead and saw that the others were awake and attentive as well.

Shit.

Considering the prominent furrow in the brow of the habitually jovial Mr. Joestar you had every reason to be just as disconcerted as Jotaro. There was something wrong. Very wrong and that was confirmed when all eyes landed on the source of the buzzing. Your lips parted and goosebumps ran up and down your arms when you saw the large beetle flying around the plane.

You gulped before you spoke, your voice small as you did. "Jotaro...over there." Jotaro tensed beside you, letting out a sharp breath at the sound of your words. He grit his teeth as he gave your hand a small squeeze prior to letting it go. You looked up at him as he stood up with a start, the rest of the group following.

"A rhino beetle...no it's a stag beetle!" he exclaimed, getting the attention of the others.

All five of you were standing now, eyes glued to the large insect that was getting closer to all of you.

"Avdol, is that a stand?" Joseph asked the man who's eyes were narrowed and focused on the bug.

You tapped on his shoulder as well. "We're already encountering another stand user?" you asked Avdol to which he nodded. You wished he would deny it and say that this was just some mutant bug that you could kill with a fly swatter, but you knew that was just pitiful hope.

"It's possible, it seems to be one that takes the form of an insect." Avdol replied to which you groaned.

"A bug and stand in one... great." you muttered sarcastically, pinching the bridge of your nose.

"It hid in the shadows of the seats." Avdol observed and that only made you all the more skittish.

You glanced around, frantically raking your eyes over the inconveniently dim space of the plane. You could sense the worry of the crusaders around you, it was practically tangible. Not only was the stand small, well large for a bug but not necessarily easy to spot nevertheless, but you were on a plane with tons of innocent passengers who had no clue what the hell was going on. God you guys did really look like nut jobs to the outside world, huh? It was kind of comical(in a dark way) that you were fighting off and panicking about something that was completely invisible to others.
