"No!" you cried out with the gasps of the others as the metal tongue stabbed right through the head of one of the sleeping passengers.

Jotaro swiftly wrapped his arms around you, pulling you against him. He cradled your head with his hand, keeping you pressed against his chest as you let out a shaky gasp. Your eyes were squeezed shut, the tears streaming down your face as you attempted to rationalize what you just witnessed but no human with a heart could.

Nothing could justify this.

"Come here... Don't look." Jotaro uttered to you in a voice just above a whisper, keeping his arm firmly wrapped around you.

You kept your eyes closed, trying to calm your breaths. His warmth enveloped you, giving you at least some sense of security. You could feel his efforts to protect you from this, from all of it in his embrace, in the way his heart was pounding against your ear.

"He just... they..." you choked out in a whisper.

Jotaro exhaled shakily, holding you in his arms. He glanced back, wincing at the gruesome sight in front of him, the corpses of the innocent people who were subject to a power they couldn't understand. To the cruelty of a selfish monster.

"Shh, I know..." he whispered to you, his eyes back on you as he gently brushed his fingers through your tousled hair.

You wrapped your arms around him as well in a gesture of gratitude. Gratitude that he was holding you, that he was protecting you, that he was okay.

He pulled you even closer and his grandfather turned his head away from the horrifying sight to look at his grandson. Despite everything going on, he felt the pride welling up inside of him because he didn't expect to see this side of Jotaro. He hoped that they would live through all of this, because he wanted to be there to see the look on his daughters face when she saw the way her son was capable of loving another person.

You pulled away slightly in Jotaro's embrace, giving him a grateful look. He lifted his hand, his eyes tormented as he wiped away the stray tears that managed to make their journey down your face. Both of you turned, reluctantly breaking away from the eye contact as you heard a gasp.

"Massacre..." you heard Avdol say, reading off the bloodied wall.

The beetle dropped the ripped out tongue onto the ground as he spelled out the word in the blood of the innocent. You angrily wiped the tears away and Jotaro glowered at the beetle, his mind swirling with possible solutions to this. He needed to figure something out, something that will protect the rest of the passengers, his friends and... you.

"That heartless bastard..." Joseph snarled under his breath, his hand balling into a fist.

"I'll burn that damn bug alive! Magicians Red!" Avdol exclaimed but his attack was cut short when Kakyoin raised his hand and called out to him.

"Avdol wait! Just hold on a second!"

You pulled away entirely from Jotaro when you noticed a man at the back of the plane beginning to shift in his seat. He was elderly based on how wrinkled his face was and his far from abundant amount of gray hair on his head. Shit, this couldn't be good.

"So damn noisy on this flight... what is up with all this ruckus?" he grumbled groggily as he opened his eyes.

You didn't know why but when he got up from his seat your stomach began to churn. There was something strange about him. Something bizarre.

"Be careful!" Kakyoin shouted as the man looked between all of you and then turned around.

His eyes lingered on yours for a moment to which you tensed. He ignored the warning of your friend and kept walking towards his destination. After a few moments he paused, looking at the wall.
