I heard the blare of the music before long before I arrived. The party was booming! I just won my first match, and Rio just knocked the tournament out the park! I was completely exhilarated. I strut my way through the woods behind the school, my black curls blew in the breeze. The moon lit the path towards the once abandoned school building tucked in the woods. Gigi and I made our way down the path with many other students. I couldn't wait to meet Rio at the party!"Oh my gosh bitch you look amazing!" Gigi screamed.
"You look like a fucking model." I responded.
Gigi laughed before turning her face serious as she cat walked down the path; shoving people out of her way.
They cheered her on! Gigi sported our school's jersey with black high heels. Her blonde hair was curled so beautifully.
"I'm so freaking happy we met. I couldn't have asked for a better friend and roommate." I spoke to Gigi.
"Bitch are you drunk already? I'm happy we met too. Now we're in this shit until the end!" Gigi shouted.
"Until the end!" I responded with a wink.
We finally made it. The music was so loud! But the song was so fantastic!
Inside the party was at a climax. People danced all around us. The building which was the size of an average home was packed with students.
How could I ever find Rio with all of these partiers?
Gigi grabbed me and we started dancing.
Maybe Rio would find me.
I shimmied my shoulders and my hips as I stared at Gigi who began to break dance. The crowd quickly circled us.
I froze, but I couldn't stop now. Gigi got off the floor and grabbed my hand and we danced together. She swirled me under her arms. Then I felt someone dancing behind me. I turned to punch him until I saw it was Rio! I laughed.
He hugged me tightly, and I hugged him as tight as I could.
"Hello gorgeous!" Rio said with a large smile.
"Hello, my champion!" I responded before leaning in to kiss him.
Rio blushed. I wiped my cherry red lipstick off his lips before we erupted into dance together. It felt like everyone in the room was dancing. We were packed inside the building shoulder to shoulder.
"We met at a party." I spoke as we danced in front of each other.
"Your dance moves had me mesmerized! You were the only person in the room. That night, I knew, I needed you in my life." Rio spoke in a more serious tone.
I stopped dancing to hug him. He held me in his arms.
"I had no idea what to expect coming to this school, but I never expected to meet so many lovely people." I spoke to him.
"I love you." Rio spoke as he gazed into my eyes.
"I love you too."
Then we kissed; a slow, tender kiss.
Butterflies fluttered through my belly and chest. That was the first time we said we loved each other.
Cigarette and marijuana smoke lingered through the air. The room smelled of sweat and booze.
The temperature began to rise. I thought it was due to the crowd of people inside the room, until I saw an orange light flickering in the corner of my eye. I turned to look; it was Kimberly on top a table dancing while she bended flames around her. The flames seemed to dance around her.
She caught me eyeing her before jumping off of the table, and starting straight towards me.
Rio started to stand in front of me, but I grabbed his wrist before stepping in front of him. Kimberly and I were now eye to eye, and toe to toe.
"You're at my school bitch! You think you can steal my lover, and then beat my friend in a match, and get away with it?! Tomorrow is our duel, and I'm ready for you! Who the fuck do you think you are?" Kimberly barked.
"Stella Vix, bitch!" I screamed.
Kimberly bended an explosive ball of fire at me knocking me into the wall far behind me. I jolted up and bended the globs of water around my hands before sending a lash of water towards Kimberly. Rio jumped in front of my attack.
"What the hell are you doing?" I screamed at Rio as I stormed towards them.
"You're not fighting tonight! If President Ruth finds out you dueled outside of class, you're dead!" Rio pleaded with me while shaking his head vigorously.
All eyes were on us. Someone even cut the music off.
"See you tomorrow bitch." Kimberly and her girl clique strutted out of the party.
Rio and Gigi walked over to me.
"Are you okay?" Rio asked as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
"I'm fine." I replied.
"You should've whooped her ass then and there! Rio is right though, it's not worth going to the dungeon." Gigi spoke.
"I think you handled yourself well. You stood up for yourself. Now tomorrow, you have to make her pay!" Rio spoke as he gave me a stern head nod.
I frowned as I nodded back.
"I will make her pay! For everything!" I shouted.
