dance.

It was the night of the dance. Gigi, Karmen, and I were in our dorm getting dolled up. Gigi blared music from her radio. She shimmied in the mirror as she applied her hot pink lipstick. I helped straighten Karmen's curly brown locks as I bobbed to the beat.

Gigi curled her blonde bob. She wore a skin tight pink spaghetti strapped dress accompanied with black pointy four inch heels. So simple yet so beautiful! I wore my black hair in a curly side part. I wore a red silk ruffled dress, which reminded me of old Hollywood, with matching red lipstick. I wore a pair of glass heels Gigi couldn't fit anymore. I felt so beautiful as I swirled around in our dorms body length mirror. Karmen wore an olive green knee-length cocktail dress, with black sandals. She wore no makeup, and never the less looked stunning! All of us did as we danced in the mirror laughing dancing to the music.

"Bitch we look good!" Gigi said laughing.

"We may even look the best!" Karmen joked.

There was a knock at the door. Karmen opened it.

"Your dates are here." Karmen called out.

Rio and Niko walked in. Both of their mouths dropped as they looked at us.

"You look so beautiful! You always do, but tonight..." Rio blushed.

"Oh shut up!"

We kissed.

"You look really gorgeous tonight." Niko said to Gigi; smiling at her.

"You look rather dashing yourself. Nice tux!" Gigi smiled.

"All of you ladies look beautiful tonight." Niko continued.

Karmen gave a friendly smile.

"Our friend doesn't have a date tonight, so she's all of our dates!" I spoke.

"That's fine with me." Niko spoke.

"Shall we?" Rio asked gesturing towards the door.

"We shall." I joked. I reached my hand out he grabbed it and we made our way to the auditorium. Our heels clicked against the floor the entire way.

Students roamed the halls in their best dressed! As they scrambled into the auditorium. The music grew louder with each step! You could see Gigi's eyes light up as we began to feel the bass.

The auditorium doors opened up to a huge room! Flooded with party decor, balloons, fog blowers, disco lights, and not to mention a lot of students! There was a line of students at the snack bar on the far side of the room. In the middle students danced to the blaring music.

Gigi and Niko ran off to the dance floor. Leaving me , Rio , and Karmen.

"You guys can go dance. I'll go get us some drinks." Karmen said, with an unconvincing smile.

"No you two go dance. I'll grab us some punch." Rio smiled; nodding at me.

I looked at Karmen then pulled her off to the dance floor. I hadn't realized but this was my favorite song! I immediately starting going crazy on the dance floor! Spinning, dropping, and twirling to the beat. Karmen laughed before jumping to the song.

"Hey you're really good at this dancing stuff!" Karmen called out.

"This is my jam girl!" I screamed out the lyrics to the song whilst I got lost in my dancing.

Every lyric felt like ecstasy. I couldn't miss a beat!

Kimberly and her girl group appeared. Kimberly wore an all black lace dress. Her dark brown hair was straightened with a poof at the top. She also wore red lipstick and black mascara.
