Food Fight

It was an average day in the Kingdom of Vale. You recently heard of a murder at a nearby bookstore called, "Tukson's Book Trade." You looked into it a bit more and recognized that the shopowner Tukson was a member of the White Fang. You figured that it must have had something to do with the Roman Torchwic because of his connection to the White Fang.

You, unfortunately, weren't able to do much about the situation so you made your way back to Beacon. The rest of your team was at the Cafeteria for lunch so you decide to make your way over there and spend time with them to clear your mind a little.

Weiss, Blake, and your girlfriend Yang were all sitting at a table next to each other.

Yang: Oh hey y/n. What's up?

y/n: Uh... Not much.

Things seemed a bit off about Yang. She usually referred to you as "babe" or "baby." But you decided to shrug it off as you sat next to Yang.

Yang: You sure? You seem a bit troubled.

You put on a fake smile. You didn't want to say anything about Tukson being murdered.

y/n: I'm fine really.

Yang looked down sadly for a moment. She seemed frustrated and it didn't seem like she believed you.

Yang: ...Alright.

You saw past her that Blake was looking at her diary looking at what looked to be drawings of your brother Adam. Yang seemed to notice too so she slid up next to Blake and nudged her to get her attention.

Yang: Whatcha doing?

Blake seemed to get nervous and closed her diary.

Blake: Nothing, just... going over notes from last semester.

You knew she was lying but you decided not to butt in. You then saw a grape fly through the air as Yang caught it in her mouth and began to eat it.

Yang: Lame!

You then looked across the cafeteria to see team JNPR at a table not too far from you. They were all giggling as Nora was catapulting grapes at Yang with a spoon. Nora catapulted another and Yang caught it in her mouth and began to eat it as she gave a thumbs up to Nora.

Ruby then walked up to the table and laid down a very thick binder in front of you and your team. The binder read "Vytal Festival Activities Property of Weiss Schnee" but that was crossed off and it seemed like Ruby tried to replace what it said with "Best Day Ever Activities!" Ruby then cleared her throat.

Ruby: Sisters!

Ruby gestured to Yang.

Ruby: Friends!

Ruby gestured to team JNPR.

Ruby: Weiss.

Ruby gestured to Weiss.

Weiss: Hey!

Ruby: Four score and seven minutes ago. I had a dream.

Yang looked to you and the rest of your team.

Yang: This oughta be good.

Another grape flew up to Yang as she caught it in her mouth again and ate it.

Ruby: A dream that one day the four of us would come together as a team and have the most fun that anyone has ever had! EVER!

Weiss: Did you steal my binder?

Ruby leaned forward towards Weiss making peace signs with her hands.

Ruby: *Whispering* I am not a crook.
