I'm currently sitting on the hood of my car, staring out into the horizon at the lowering sun, which will be met by the ocean.
I placed the bottle of booze I was carrying away after finishing it and then took out my wallet, which contained a photograph of her, my Alyssa.

When I saw my Alyssa in the photo, a big smile suddenly appeared on my lips. I've never met somebody who isn't affected by her smile.
Tuwing ngumingiti kasi ito ay kasama ang kanyang mga mata idagdag pa ang paglabas ng dimples niya sa kanyang dalawang pisngi. Para siyang pusa.
This is the first time I've photographed her. I giggled as I recalled secretly taking a photo of her with my mobile camera.
We met at a birthday party for a mutual friend named Karen. At the same time and day we began to build a personal relationship that I imagined would endure forever.
"We keep this love in a photograph We made these memories for ourselves Where our eyes are never closing Hearts are never broken And time's forever frozen, still"
I didn't notice that I was crying while just looking at her, if my tears hadn't been shed by Alyssa's photo I wouldn't know.
"Ang daya daya mo naman Ly eh, you crushed my heart by abandoning me" I said like I was talking her in the photo.
Ipinikit ko ang aking mga mata at inilapat ang litrato niya sa dibdib ko. Hindi ko na mapigilan ang sarili ko at tuluyan ng umiyak dahil sa sakit na nararamdaman ko ngayon.

- Flashback -
"Love, magmamahal ka pa ba ulit ng iba kapag nawala ako?" Alyssa asked, out of nowhere.
It became our seventh 12 months together, so we ate out to celebrate and now simply lay in bed.
"Ly, what are you talking about?" I replied with confusion.
This is the first time na nagtanong siya sakin ng mga ganito dahil sa tagal na magkasama kami never kong naramdaman na iiwan niya ako o mawawala siya sa akin.
"Just asking Love, since you know... Hindi naman natin hawak ang panahon" she said. Tumingin ako sakanya at nakita ko namang nakapikit lang ito.
