Chapter 10

Sally POV
You have been in a forest for a few hours all alone. You just knew. It's over for y/n. You can't save him without Charley. You have been walking through this forest for sixteen hours now. Your clothes are ripped, you cut your knee, you're hungry and tired and can't live much longer without care.

The snow has made you get frostbite and you are bleeding from your face and it is in your hair. You're very slow and weak. One hit and you are a goner. You smell sap and plants. You see squirrels in the trees harvesting Acorns and you see bunnies hopping happily.

You then hear a gunshot both scared and relieved. "Hello?" You shout. "Who's there? Why are you out here?" A woman in leather clothes walks down to you. You are very far from Castle Dimitrescu and this doesn't seem like to be a resident from that village thats evil. She has a shotgun and she just shot down a deer. "Little girl. You need to come with me. You're not looking in good shape." The woman then lifted you up while still holding an antler from the dead deer. She dragged it with her with you in her arms.

You then wake up. You can't remember falling asleep. You can't get up due to pain but your on a camp bed. In a wooden Shack. A TV was on and it talked about last night. Then the huntress came in. She had a plate full of meat and had some vegetables. "I need you to eat this for strength." You then eat it. After you were done she started asking questions like "What's your name?" "How did you end up in the forest?" When she asked you that question. You could not speak and you pointed at the TV.
The woman looked. "You came from that?" She asks in worry. You nod. She then held your hand. "Girl. I'll keep you for a while. Then I can get you a new home." She then smiled and she walked out. "Try rest more girl" She said as she was about to walk out the door. You then fall asleep.

You (Reader)
You wake up in your mother's bed. She is writing some notes into what seems to be her journal. You try to snug into her hip but you don't have energy. She looks down and she slowly gets closer to you in the bed. She then takes off her glove and she rubs your head. "Sleep well?" She asks. You nod. "I feel tired. Not like sleep tired but my body doesn't have energy." You tell her. She then reaches over to a table on her left and gets a plate. "You're starving dear that's why. Here. I'll feed you." Your mother says and smiles after words. You then blush a bit. She then gets a spoonful of food. You were too tired to see what it was and your eyes only focused on your mother.

She then starts humming while feeding you. She was trying to relax you over the hard month you have had with the painful syringe and the death of your friends that felt like a brother and sister to you. After you have eaten, you felt funny. Your mother then grabbed your formula and you drank it from her hand. "Just a little bit dear, you're still tired." You then had a quater of the bottle. She then surrounded you with her arms and rested your head on her side.

Your sisters come in a few minutes later but you feel a bit light headed. "Mother. Is he feeling okay?" Daniela asks. "He is healing daughters." Your mother then responded back. "He will have to stay with me closely for a few days. He needs me for comfort. He is just not in the mood for playing for a while" She replied back. "I am?" You ask. She giggles. "Mama knows best dear." The daughters then walk out of the room and your mother brushes your eye lids.

"I know you have been sleeping lots but it's important for you." She says as you are about to black out. She then hums.

Sally (POV)
"Child. Wake up!" The girl was back and had a blanket over you. "Yes?" You respond. "We are in danger. We need to escape." You then hear banging and growling. "Lycans!" You shriek and then you take a sniper from the wall and load it up. (Badass) "Come on. Get some ammo miss." You then say with a game face. She then grabs some ammo and they start shooting the lycans that try to get in. "How are you so good with that girl?" The huntress then asks you. "Let's just say I'm new to it." She then says while loading up ammo.

You then start continuously shoot them. You spent a solid hour killing them. After the last one was shot, you then sit down. "What's your name?" You then ask the huntress. "I'm Alice" She says as she picks up some lycans and starts cutting them up for crystals. "What about you?" "I'm Sally" you say to Alice. Alice then looks at you. "You will make a great daughter. At first, I did not want you but now after seeing your skills... you got me interested." It hit you. You are now with a single mother. There are no pictures of family on her walls like a husband so you think she is single.

"Are you single?" You then ask just to make sure. "Yeah! Not into getting married and the whole shebang." She then replies after picking up the crystals. You then giggle. You notice that the firewood is gone. "I'm going to get us some fire wood." You then pick up a axe. "Stay safe out there!" Alice then says. "Make sure you bring a pistol. It's not always handy to carry a sniper constantly Sally." You then nod and you go out. You go to a tree stump and smash your axe into the stump and you cut it into good pieces. You then carry all the wood to the Shack. You end up getting lots of wood and when Alice went to see, she was very impressed.

You're new life as a huntress is going to be interesting. You thought of leaving y/n with Dimitrescu now since if she even attempted to help, she is dead if she does it or if she is caught. You then get ideas to write letters and put then through his room or Playroom windows.

You are wondering how you can get there fast without walking for hours. You then find a horse. "Hey Alice. Would I be able to use your horse when I need to? I want to start giving my friend letters." You yell while you were outside. "Sure. Make sure you don't get you or it killed" She yells back. You then write a letter. With bold letters at the top. Do not show your mom these letters so I don't die! You then write a letter and you go off. It took you three hours to get to Castle Dimitrescu. You then left a horse in a safe place were lycans would not steal or kill it and you climb up and leave the sheet on the window ledge with a rock on it.

You then jump down and get the horse and go back. "I don't think I should keep going back every time now" You tell yourself. It is too dangerous and if Lycans get you or your horse your dead. Also what if Alcina finds the notes.

You then have to accept you need to stay where you are until he gets older. Maybe one day you will get to see y/n again but you highly likely won't be able to see him again because of the woman bigger than doorframes keeping him with her for the rest of his life.

You then leave with an upset look on your face as you hop on a horse in ride back home.

You then see her roaming around the village as you turn back. You hide behind some trees with your horse and dashed off before her eyes landed on you. This will be the last time you would ever go to the village.
