Chapter 26

It is now the beginning of Autumn. During the summer, your mother let you experience the outdoors more, you helped her set up and celebrated your sister's birthdays and of course, you did mainly the same things like your schooling, playing, hunting with your mother and hiding from man-things at home.

You have gone through a few changes in your body from your blood transfer you got back a few months ago. Your skin got a little whiter but not as white as her skin, your nails could go out longer (which is great for climbing up things or get high things from the shelves.) and you stopped aging completely, meaning you will not be a grown up ever and will forever stay a child.

Your mother teared with joy when she found out. How did she know?

You woke up one morning and noticed that you have not been growing and you have stayed the same size ever since you got to Castle Dimitrescu.

Your mother was doing tests on you and noticed a cell in your body that completely stopped your hormones from making you grow and will stop puberty from ever happening.

She smiled with joy when she found it and started to tear.

"Your going to be my little one forever. You are not turning into a man ever." She says happily tearing up.

You were shocked. Isn't that what your body has been preparing for years?

She took you off the cold metal table and hugged you close. She seemed very happy. She then kissed your head.

"You will be my baby for all eternity."
She says putting her chin on your head.

She then got the little knife and placed you on the table.

"I am only going to give you a little cut like last time." She says asking for your arm. She wants to see if you gained your regeneration powers yet since a blood transfer might take a while to fully build up power.

You hated pain so you shake a little. She notices and sighs. "I'll kiss it better. I did it last time remember dearest?" She asks holding your hand.

She got the knife and made a small cut into your arm. You jump up with pain. She watches the wound for a few moments. She then looks disappointed.

"Oh well, maybe next time." She says before kissing your cut better. Some of your blood gets into her mouth and she spits it out and coughs slightly and covers her mouth.

"Good. Your blood is rotten." She says grabbing a corpse and sucking it looking for a better taste in her mouth.

She manages to find a better taste from a different body and sighs in relief. She looks at your little confused face.

"If your blood tastes really bad, that means your almost in our bloodline. You just need a little more changes which will happen by itself. They won't hurt as much as the wings, I promise." She says walking over towards you.

Your body started to stop shivering from the cold metal and you looked at your cut. It did not heal completely but it stayed as it was. Only a little blood was coming out.

She did attempt to make your nails go out further which succeeded. She was impressed how long they went out. The estimate lenght was around 40m long for each one. LONGER THAN HERS!

"Dearest. Only use these if you need to defend yourself. I know you do not like to slaughter people and how dangerous it is so if someone tries to hurt you, you..."

"stab them in the legs and make them fall over." You reply with pride holding your arms out to make her easily scoop you up.

"Good boy" She says smiling and picking you up.

She brings you to her study as she needs to look over her notes about you and to write new things in. She then thinks about giving you some work to do.

"Y/n. Could you do some work for mommy?" She asks while preparing her things before giving you work.

You sigh sadly. She then laughs. "I won't give you too much, I have a few things but they only take around ten minutes each." She replies.

She got you to do some work on numbers and your writing skills. She gave you patterns for your joint writing.

You liked the joint writting so you did that first. You wrote a sentence with them as you promised.

You wrote over three pages of sentences for her and after, you had to do numbers.

Addition was today. Thankfully, it was the easiest. You got through them in a few minutes. After you finished, you lifted your mother's skirt and started to hang onto her leg.

She looked down from her chair and smiled. "Did you finish your work?" She asks while sketching your DNA cells in a journal.

"Yes mommy." You mumble underneath. "Good boy. Can I see?" She asks while carefully shaking you off her leg and pushing you out underneath. You grab the sheets and you use your nails to push up to her lap.

"Well... parenting you is going to be hard now thanks to your nails." She says trying to make you laugh as she pulls you closer to her and she takes the sheets off you.

"Good work. Now, you can have some snuggle time while I finish writing some notes." She says as her left arm wrapped you up to her belly.

She wrote notes for an hour and you were very comfy. She had you safely secured on her lap and she has you tight.

"Alright, let's go tell your sisters the good news that you will be staying the baby of the family hm?" She asks while standing up and placing you on her chest.

You go into the main room and your sisters were there talking amongst themselves until they noticed you and your mother walk in.

"How did the tests go?" Bela asks placing down a cup on the table. Your mother smiles as she sits down and holds your hand as you were still hanging off her.

"Well, his regenerational abilities have not kicked in yet but his nails got a massive improvement. They can go from the end of the room to the other end almost." Your mother says as she grabs her wine glass from the table and takes a little sip.

She then smiles wider. Your sisters start to notice. "Did something good happen?"

She takes a breath. "Y/n is staying a child. He will be like this forever." Your sisters smiled widley. "He won't be a man? He will be our little baby forever?" They ask her.

"Yes."

"YES!!!" Your sisters shouted with joy together. Your mother laughed as they were so happy. She looks down at you and you are happy that they are happy.

"Hey. Being a child forever isn't all that bad. At least you won't be too big for me and you will be so cute still instead of growing hair on your face." She says as she brushes your head with her hand.

"Also if you grew up, I would not be able to do... THIS!" She says as she then makes you jump and wraps you very fast with the closest blanket on the sofa and swaddles you up.

You start to laugh and relax. She giggles slightly too. "You see? Being a child is great!" She says kissing your little nose which then causes you to slightly sneeze which causes a bubble to appear on your nostril.

She then laughs and pops it with her nail.

She then starts to hum slightly. Making you relax in her arms as she slowly rocks you. "It is time for your nap now anyways." She whispers to you putting her forehead onto you.

"No..." You mumble in tiredness. You didn't really like naps because you hated to sleep during the day. She walks you to your room and she lies down with you in your bed until you fall asleep.

She smiles at your little face as you slept and she left you peacefully sleeping in your bed.
