Chapter 36

The sounds of thunder in the sky over the castle made you scream and run around the halls giving you a giant fright and scare.

"(Y/N) sweetheart, hush now, it is just thunder. There is nothing to be scared abo...

BANG!

You then scream and run around again. Your mother sighs and face palms slightly. You are running around in circles near her just to be safe. You are very scared of thunder.

The surrounding of the warm room did not help lighten the mood and you kept running around like you were a headless chicken. You then run to a basket and hide in it. She chuckled a little bit seeing what you were doing.

BANG!

Off you went again running around in circles scared to hell and you were terrified by the sounds of thunder. After a little bit, a giant arm came right in front of you and you were levitating in the air.

"Quiet now my little one. You are safe. The thunder can't eat you or anything. It is both physically and in general impossible." She says as she sits you on her lap.

She held you close to her and then another strike of thunder. "Shhhhhh." She repeats after each bang of thunder. She grabs a blanket and wraps you around it and lies you onto her chest.

She continues to hush you and started to cradle you in her rocking chair. The more she kept hushing you, your eyes kept drooping but kept opening when a bang of thunder happened.

Then you wanted to ask her about the saying she said from the boy saying it was her favourite saying.

"Mommy, is it true your favourite saying is be careful what you wish for?" You tiredly say.

"That is very true dearest. I don't know why but it is fun to say in different situations. Mostly towards my victims." She says as she strokes your head.

You then look into her eyes as she tries to calm you from the thunder of the weather and you go up to her neck and snuggle into her. She smiles lightly and snuggles you back and making you feel as safe as she can.

Then the biggest crash of thunder hits and you jump and fall onto the floor and you get up and run back to her and hide in her dress. She giggles as you cling to her legs and the fear in your heart increases.

"Come back to mommy's lap dear. I may as well let you in my chest to calm you."

WHAT DID SHE JUST SAY????

"Got you didn't I?" She laughs as she grabs you from her legs and puts you back on her lap. God if she did that again...

"Mommy, I feel scared. I feel so fearful."

"You are safe with your Mommy my dear (y/n). There is absolutely nothing to worry about. It is just a little bit of thunder. You know Gregory used to cry when it thundered around my old house. I had to do the same as what I am doing to you right now to calm him down." She then went silent for  moment thinking about her special child she adopted years ago and then turned her attention back to you.

Your eyes then began to shut tight as you were surrounded by giant arms, a blanket and you were lying on her pill... I mean on her peacefully. (Thought I would throw I another horny joke just to read the fun e comments that over react to them... oh I broke the fourth wall once again.)

Lady Dimitrescu (POV)

Staring at your child sleeping nice and safe is always nice to look at. The thunder was still going so you decided to keep him where he is just in case if he screams all over the castle again.

You rocked back and forward on the rocking chair as he was sleeping peacefully on your chest and he was surrounded by a blanket and your arms.

You lean over to the table to get your wine and take a sip out of it and then you lay your head on your little son and fell asleep yourself.

The doors of the castle open which awakes you and you look down at your sound asleep child. You tuck him gently inside your back pouch and you search for whoever intruded your castle.

If they try to attack me from behind, I may have to put him in my chest again. It is weird but likely won't happen.

The man who intruded was a monster hunter and this one was looking for your weakness, that being the Dagger of Deaths Flowers and you knew very well were you hid it.

He was looking everywhere and you snuck up behind him and waited for a chance to impail him with your claws. You feel movement in your back and you detach the back pouch to see if
(y/n) was okay. He just moved in his sleep so you attached the pouch back to your back.

You then stabbed the monster hunter in the back and strangled him to death and laughed at him failing to kill your bloodline. The thunder then made a coincidental effect in the background showing your amazing kill.

The sounds of moaning came from your back and you look behind you slightly to see if your son was okay. He was waking up. "Sweetie, go back to sleep. You are tired." You order him sweetly and you take him to his room and tuck him into bed.

A few hours past by and by this stage, you did not bother waking him up because at this time, he would usually would be getting ready for bed like brushing his teeth, tucking him into bed, looking for that stupid doll to see if she would catch him again and then leaving him to sleep.

You went upstairs to check on him though and he was still out cold. You smiled brightly seeing him sleep and you went over to his bed and leaned down to give him a kiss.

You leave the room quietly and close the door over.
