"It's cold. If you don't invite me in soon, I'm going to have to hug you."

Her cheeks turn an even brighter shade of pink, just as a last faint white cloud escapes her lips to dance in the freezing air. Shortly after, she turns away from me to unlock the door.

It's my first time inside of her humble home. Funny, if I didn't know any better I'd think she lived with her parents.

Her house has this warm and comfy aura to it but it's also cramped and tiny so I can't decide whether I like it or not.

After driving Rosalina home she said she had something to tell me, which is convenient because I plan on telling her something as well.

The entire ride was silent except for when she asked me how I was able to drive so well considering my car sickness. I told her that as long as I was behind the wheel I was fine, but it also had something to do with the presence of her and the absence of any 18-wheelers.

She sighs deeply before sitting down. We sit in silence for a bit, while she collects her thoughts I presume. My phone died so I have nothing to do except count the minutes as they pass by painstakingly slow. 1, 2, 3..

"Jule asked about you." I say breaking the silence.

I don't know why but it's making me nervous. I just got over my theory of her being a crazy stalker fan, I'm really hoping that she doesn't somehow manage to kidnap me and mess all of that up.

"Oh, really?" She's staring down at her hands in her lap but I'm sure her mind is somewhere else, far far away.

"She told me to make sure that you're getting better, so don't forget to rest your ankle later. Okay?"

"Okay." She says airily.

That same thick silence is back over us again...Now I can ask her-

"I have to tell you something."

"I know, that's why I came inside remember." Making her feel stupid is fun for two reasons; one, she looks cute when she's insecure, and two, I'm an asshole.

"Oh..."

God dammit! She trails off again. I sit there with her for at least ten minutes, listening to her breathing and becoming increasingly restless.

Then she says it.

Though, I wish she hadn't.

I get up, and move closer towards her, just so that I can pass her and walk out of the front door.

The sound of beating leather fills my ears as I enter the spacious, echoing gym. Through the dim lighting I can see Leo pummeling a boxing bag.

In his free time he likes to do one of two things; exercising or drugs. They don't match at all but it sure does fit the "bad boy" image that's practically tattooed across his forehead. I'm sure he'll actually get one in a few months.

"What up!" He greets me enthusiastically. His face lights up and his eyes disappear. His childish eye smile more prominent now than ever it seems, but like me it'll be gone soon.

"The sky, birds, planes. Speaking of planes, I'm flying to Japan with my father for a business trip. I'm coming back Monday evening, but I need you to tell Noah for me."

He pushes the sandbag aside to send me a look of anger, biting back sadness.

Telling Noah I'm leaving isn't an easy task. He's clingy and over dramatic. Those traits certainty don't mix well when it comes to someone your leaving behind for a business trip out of the country. I was going to ask Rosalina to do it but she kind of left me mute after the little, well huge, confession she made.
