"Why are you making it sound so dramatic?"
"We, We need you." Noah says mocking our current position by standing directly in front of Leo while holding onto his shoulders.
Leo pushes him away and laughs. Cameron sighs and releases his grip on me.
"Step aside, I'll explain it to her." Noah walks over to me and pushes Cameron out of the way.
"Okay Rose, We're inviting you to join our marvelous club." Noah stretches out his long arms and spins around, adding emphasis.
"Here we explore new things and learn about the rainbow-"
"Just shut up." Mark walks over to join us.
All three of these boys tower over me. Mark being the tallest, he must be at least 6'2. I guess Cameron and Noah are 6'0. Leo is only about an inch taller than me so he's probably 5'6 and I think I remember hearing Jamie was 5'11 from some loud fangirl.
I look over at Jamie and Leo who are looking at us with an impatient expression. I'm getting anxious as well. What is this 'club' actually about? And who's going to tell me?
"We're making you the new member of our after school club where two of us a day will pick one dare each out of that box over there." Mark says before pointing to a silver box on the table where each of them were sitting.
He walks over to the box before motioning for us to follow him. Cameron and Noah walk past me before Cameron notices I'm not moving and grabs hold of my wrist, once again, before walking me to the table.
I'm confused. I'm getting invited to be part of a club. And not just any club, a club whose members are Wellsworth Academy's finest. That doesn't make any sense.
"Read." Mark says pointing to a list on the side of the box. I move closer to read the jumbled up handwriting.
RULES:
-Two people a day will pick one dare each.
-The two people will be determined using a list.
-The list will be in order of oldest to youngest.
-The club meets Mon-Fri right after school.
-The dare will be executed by the entire group unless it specifies otherwise (G)roup or (S)olo.
-You have 24 hours to complete the dare.
-If you fail your first dare you have to get another one.
-After failing the first dare you have to place it back into the box, for somebody else to eventually try.
-If you fail the second dare you will face a fatal punishment executed by the other club members.
The 'rules' make me question whether or not this is even a real after school activity. Is it authorized? How did they even get this place? The building we're in is like a house mixed with a young child's dream game room. It has everything!
In one room there's a large flat screen TV above a CD case filled with at least 100 different games, below three game consoles and around fifteen game controllers lay neatly on the ground. Couches and toys are placed around as well.
Another room has a small kitchen complete with cabinets, counters, a toaster, a coffee machine, a blender, a microwave and a designer refrigerator. There are also two doors labeled as the restrooms. Since it's just these five guys here I wonder what they use the girl's restroom for?
