Homecoming

Erin's POV -
The first week of school had gone by so fast and it was now homecoming weekend which I was so exited for. I decided that I was going to ask jay from the football team to go with me as he was so cute and really hot

I knew that Kim probably would not want to go to homecoming but I decided to try and persuade her to go and that she would hang out with me if she wanted

She's become more quiet this week and we have not spoken at school and barely said a word to each other at home. Dads starting to get worried about her and that something is wrong or bothering her

I've heard her crying at night so many times now and it kills me that I can't just walk in there and hold her until all the problems go away. I understand why she won't talk to me though and I'm trying to change that as I want us to be closer and able to tell each other everything

I decided that Friday night instead of going out with my friends I would stay in and watch a movie with her. I knocked on her door and came in to see her studying like always and looking like she had not slept In days

" hey so as dads out tonight would you want to watch a movie with me " I said sitting on the end of her bed
" is this a way your friends have come up to hurt me or something er " Kim said before getting back to her work
" what no of corse not I just want to spend some time with my sister " I said moving closer to her
" ok sure only if I can pick the movie " Kim said walking through to my room with me

We both decided to watch mean girls as it was one of our favourite movies and it always made Kim smile and laugh. We sat on my bed but during the movie I pulled her close to me and soon enough she later her head on my shoulder.

I missed this , me and Kim being really close like best friends and doing everything together. Dad said that me and Kim didn't do anything apart when we were kids and sometimes we didn't want friends all we wanted was each other. It made me happy when dad talked about how me and Kim were when we were children.

I didn't notice but we both happened to fall asleep in each others arms while the movie was still playing. That night Kim had looked happy and I had heard her laugh and saw her smile which I had not seen in a while.

Dad walked into my room in the morning and sat on the bed and gave me and Kim a kiss on the head before waking us up

" Erin , kimmy time to wake up girls " voight said shaking our shoulders
" 5 more minutes " I said leaning into Kim who was still asleep
" come on kimmy wake up now " voight said shaking her awake
" mm morning dad morning er " Kim said while wiping her eyes
" I see you two had a fun night together last night" voight said getting up
" yeah it was great dad we really enjoyed it " i said giving Kim a kiss on the cheek
" well you guys time to get up I have breakfast on the table and Erin as it's homecoming you will want to get ready soon " voight said closing the door

Kim got out of bed and walked through to her room to get changed and I decided to message jay and ask him to meet up so that I can ask him to homecoming with me

The park with jay -
I was kind of nervous to meet with jay and ask him to go to homecoming with me. What if he didn't like me back or what if he had already asked someone to homecoming with him

I made sure that I had a nice outfit on to meet him. I had a white skirt with a black crop top and my white converse and my hair in a high pony with the two front bits down

I saw him walk over to me and omg was he hot. He had a t-shirt and shorts on and I could see his muscles arms which made me turn red. When he came over I gave him a hug before we sat down on the bench to talk

"Hey jay so em I really need to talk to you about something " I said fiddling with my hands
" hey er is everything ok " jay said looking concerned
" yeah yeah everything's fine I just I wanted to know if you wanted to go to homecoming with me " I said looking down

He didn't answer me he took my face in the hands and pulled himself closer until his lips collided with Mine. Omg it felt amaizng it was all I had hoped that it would be. I could feel myself smiling as our lips parted

" if you didn't know by that kiss Erin then yes darling I would love to go to homecoming with you " jay said smiling

I could not stop smiling and could kot wait to get ready and go to homecoming with him. We decided that he would pick me up at 6.30 . I am so exited I can't wait

At home -
I decided that I was going to wear a light blue dress as it matched jays eyes. It was quite short but it didn't show to much so dad would be fine with me wearing it out

I was beyond surprised when I saw Kim walk out of her room wearing a dress. She looked stunning , I had never really seen her dress up but she looked amazing

" woah Kim you look amazing " I saw walking over to her
" thanks er you look so pretty as usual " Kim said looking down
" kimmy you look amazing all the guys will be looking at you tonight so don't you dare tell me that you don't look as good as me or that you don't look pretty because you look stunning " I said pulling her into a hug

I saw Kim smile before we walking into the hall where dad was waiting to take our photo. I could see that she was happy that Kim was going and that she seemed more confident in herself for a change.

" and by the way your riding with jay and I tonight ok " I said
" only if your sure Erin " Kim said

At homecoming -
Kim's POV -
I walked in with Erin and people were staring at me. I felt so uncomfortable as people didn't usually look at me in a good way it was usually when they were about to say something mean to me. I sat down at a table with Erin when Adam and Kev walked over

" Kim why the hell didn't you tell us that you were coming tonight " Kev said sitting down
" I thought it would be fun and Erin convinced me to go " I said
" well I'm glad you did and by the way you look stunning " Adam said

I got up and we all started dancing and I was having such an amazing night. People were not saying things to me as I don't think they recognised me. Then my heart started to beat so fast when I saw Natalie in a red dress. Woah she looked amazing I wish she was my girlfriend.

I didn't really talk to anyone that night and just stayed with Adam, Kev and Erin but I enjoyed it. We got home at 11 as if it was any later dad would have gone crazy. When I lay down in bed that night I smiled knowing that I had a good night
