My bed felt like a cloud with my phone in hand. We talked for hours. It felt the a year but it would have been the best year of my life.
"Candace it is 2 a.m." his words spoke through the phone at me.
"Mico I know but I don't want to stop talking to you" I pleaded.
"I would if I could but I need sleep"
"Okay fine I will see you tomorrow then"
"Alright" you could hear the change in his voice as he pulled the phone away.
"I love you" my whispers were never heard by his end of the line. They were cut off by a red button and a dead line. It wasn't much of a problem to me I said it to late.
Now I knew I really did. In front of me stood the man I thought I loved and the woman I to learned to hate. Their mouths were connected and moving in perfect sinc. I ran out of the room. I felt like a train just plowed into my chest. I felt arms wrap aroud me waist and lift me up and carry me outside. I tried to open my eyes but they were just clouded with my tears. I couldn't tell who was with me but I was just thankful they were. It took time for me to calm down. It felt like my whole world just collapsed around me.
"Did you really trust him" Ray's voice was in my ear. I tried to form words but they would not come so I just nodded.
"That was your first mistake" Ray laughed.
"I guess your right" the words came from my mouth sounding frail and weak but I didn't care. My brother walked into the building. I followed him in.
"Gavin stop!"
"He hurt you so I am going to hurt him" his fist tightened. I hated this part. My breathing stopped its normal ways. My lungs began to quit on me. My throat closed up and tears fell to the floor.
"Gavin...please...y-y-y-you can't...it is....it's fine" I collapsed to the floor. I was on all fours trying to catch my breath. Ray sat by my side.
My brother carried on.
I tryed to crawl to him.
To make him stop.
My arms went weak and I collapsed.
"Gavin please just don't" I begged from the ground. But he did. I felt my head go light and I felt my head it the ground then everything went black.

My eyes opened to the same familiar bedroom. I got up and stretched. I felt so much better. Even though the man I thought I loved made out with another girl right in front of me. I stood in the door way facing the living room.
"Thanks again" I say to Ray. He pauses his game and smiles back at me.
"You want food?" he stood up and entered the kitchen.
"Please!" I walk over to him.
"What do you want then?"
"Pizza?!?"
"Pizza hut it is then, what do you want on your pizza?"
"Hmm...how about sausage?"
"Alright," He said, smirking at me. I laughed a little, as he picked up his phone, and called Pizza Hut. I walked over to the counter, and sat on one of the stools. He smiled at me, and I slightly smiled back. Suddenly, my phone went off, and I picked it up, unlocking it.
From Liz:
Hey...can i ask you a question?
To Liz:
Sure! What's up?
From Liz:
Well...people at work are saying that Ryan likes me...what do you think?
To Liz:
I agree with them, I think he honestly likes you! ;3
From Liz:
...Really? :D
To Liz:
Yes really! Why...do you like him?!?! :o
From Liz:

AH THIS IS GREAT AWEEE I SHIP YOU TWOOOO!!!! :DDDD

Oh shush! I have to go, thank you!
To Liz:
No problem, see you tomorrow at work ;3
I sat there and Ray sat back on the couch and messed with his game. I messed about with my phone. I scrolled through my contacts and stopped at the name Scarlett. She was my best friend from back home. I pressed the call button. Even though it was about eleven at night.
"Candace I swear to god I am so bloody tired this better be good" I could see her smiling through the phone even if I could only hear her.
"It is good, I promise" I shared the whole story about what happened with Michael. Even after the pizza arrived I continued to catch up with her even after the shit talking stopped. Ray laughed as we talked about the weirdest things. Finally we had to stop talking because she needed to go to sleep. I was fine with that.
"Can I borrow some clothes?" I could feel a slight blush crawl onto my face.
"I brought your bag, don't you have clothes in there?"
"I-I-I do, but I want yours" I knew I was like a tomato now. Ray hugged me then went to go get some clothes. He came back out from his closet with a pair pajama pants and I'm going cake less shirt.
"Will this do?"
"Definitely thanks" I laughed and took the clothes from his hand. Then walked past him into the bedroom and shut the door behind me. I changed as quickly as I could then joined Ray on the couch.
"Hey princess you look tired. Why don't you go to sleep?" He said. I laid my head in his lap.
"This is my bed right here" I looked up at him and smiled. He turned off his game and the tv.
"Well why don't we just," with this he lifted me up and began to carry me back to the bed and dropped me down. I crawled under the covers and Ray did the same. I snuggled up to him and he held me so close I could hear the steady beat of his heart. I yawned and gently drifted away to dream land.
