You'd spent weeks wishing you could brag about being All Might's girl -- you wanted to know what it was like, being the center of attention on his arm. As you slowly walked through the hall of employee offices and meeting rooms, you noticed the stares lasted a bit longer than usual. Some pissed. Some confused. Overall most were faces of concern. Not concern for your well being, or even the fact that your relationship with All Might was true. It was because 15+ employees knew and it would take only one to mention it and take the entire company down.

You fucked up. You so fucked up. All Might -- although calm with you -- was terrified. You saw it plastered across his face every night. Sure, only the staff knew about the nature of your relationship with the hero, but it was far too many. You didn't even want to show your face in the halls. You regretted everything.

It was obvious more than just All Might's immediate team knew -- or at least it felt that way. As you shuffled into a lunch line, you could feel everyone's eyes glues to the back of your head. Even if they didn't know, they watched you like a hawk -- waiting for you to reveal your secret.

You quickly grabbed a pre-made bento and quickly rushed back to the elevator. For the most part, you'd been coupled up in All Might's living quarters, avoiding any and all social interaction. His office was a small change of scenery that kept you content for the time being.

You shuffled through the album of photos you'd taken from your excursion at the zoo. You caught yourself blushing at a few of the photos that were meant just for you -- including an "accidental" photo of his ass that you captured between exhibits. You would give anything to go back. At least then you could be seen in public together -- even if it wasn't romantic.

"I don't know about that one," piped a quiet voice from behind you. You slammed the laptop shut and whipped around to see Ayumi carefully closing the office door behind her. "Hey, love."

Ayumi took slow strides around the loveseat before sitting down beside you. You were embarrassed to say the least. Memories of the last time you sat here came flooding back. It was pretty much where it all started, where All Might presented you with Nejire's note, and where you held his hand for the very first time.

"Are you okay?" She asked softly, placing a comforting hand on your knee.

"I'm okay. I wasn't hurt or anything -- I think All Might took most of the grunt from the villain," you replied shakily.

Ayumi rubbed your knee. "You know that's not what I mean." She was incredibly perceptive and calm. It made complete sense why she was head of All Might's department. "Are you safe?"

You looked at Ayumi with concern. "I don't know how I fucked up so badly."

"Oh honey," she sighed. "You can't help who you fall for. Sure, you definitely could have picked someone more your age but don't blame yourself. The heart works in mysterious ways." Ayumi nodded.

You turned towards her, picking your legs up to cross them on the couch. "It's going to cost him his career," you cried, letting your emotional baggage out. "All because I wanted some unobtainable trophy."

"Do you love him?" She asked, brushing your hair with her fingers as you sulked into her shoulder.

"Mhm." You replied quietly between tears.

"Then we will figure it out," she whispered. "We already have the legal department preparing for anything that may arise."

You pulled back. "So everyone does know," you concluded. Your cheeks grew more flushed as you began to realize the stares weren't just in your head.

"Only the department heads of legal know the full extent of your relationship. Everyone else simply is aware of your time spent together," she corrected. "It was -- necessary to protect both of you." Ayumi's soft smile disappeared. "I know it's uncomfortable, but we have to do this the right way or this entire agency will be a ghost town in a week's time."

"But it's consens-"

"It doesn't matter," She interrupted. "You're still a student and with how soon you just turned of age, the media would be all over it like hot cakes." Her look grew more stern. "You're not going to like what I'm about to say but we need to prevent any misconceptions. All Might will be--"

"Perfectly capable of telling her myself, Ayumi," All Might's deep voice pitched in. You hadn't even heard him enter the room. You turned in your seat to see All Might, grabbing a tissue to dab a small cut on his lower lip. He must have just come from a patrol, you presumed.

You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. "Tell me what?" You asked.

All Might made eye contact with Ayumi, silently asking her to leave. "Come see me before the end of the day," she sighed, giving you one last pat before swiftly exiting the room.

"What's going on?" You asked again.

All Might sighed as he cautiously sat down next you on the loveseat. "I want you to use your quirk while I -- tell you this," he whispered.

Your heart began to physically hurt. What news could be so bad that you needed to be prepared for it? You reluctantly slid your hand into his.

"Okay," you mumbled.

All Might exhaled. "You're not using it." His palm was unusually cold and rough. Whatever he was feeling would apparently be enough to warrant a reaction. "Please."

You were scared. He was acting -- weird, to say the least.

With little persuasion you counted to three in your head before activating your quirk. Almost immediately tears began streaming down your face. It hurt. It hurt so fucking bad. You felt every stab to the heart -- so much so it felt like a real knife was piercing through the muscular flesh.

"Sweet girl…"

You clutched your chest with your other hand. This wasn't happening. There was no fucking way this was happening.

"I'm sorry, but we have to break up."
