Heroes Are Just Like Us

You arrived at Might Towers the next morning earlier than expected; you still had 40 minutes to kill. You decided to take a self guided tour of some of the building while waiting for Ayumi to show. The entire first floor was designed in similar opulence to a 5 star hotel. A large marble fountain was the main focal point with a statue of All Might in the center touting his famous gun-showing pose. Whoever carved it perfected every detail of this gorgeous man. 

Near the back of the grand room you stumbled upon the cafeteria. Round tables littered the room nearly half-full with staff enjoying their morning breakfast and running through the day's tasks. The cafeteria was set up buffet grab-n-go style with plenty of food choices. You decided on a blueberry muffin. Breakfast wasn't really your forte since you usually slept in anyway.

The second floor had more amenities for the staff to use at their leisure. A full gym, pool, and private rooms for classes, no less was expected from the greatest agency.

As you made your way up floor by floor, there were tons of new things to see and look at. It would take someone a solid week to actually check everything out that the agency had to offer. 

By the time you made it up 5 floors it was almost 8am. As you waited for the elevator to take you to your floor, the nerves set in quickly. Would you be seeing All Might this morning? His surprise encounters always threw you off guard, even though you'd began to expect them. 

"Good morning (y/n)!" Ayumi bubbled as soon as you exited the elevator. You weren't expecting for your new supervisor to be the one to catch you off guard. "I see you found the cafeteria! Good! Are you ready for your first day?"

You smiled cheerfully at the woman. "Oh, yes! I could hardly sleep last night, I'm very excited to learn everything I can from you."

"Perfect! We have a meeting first thing this morning so please follow me. I'll need you to take any notes that you deem important since you'll be working on this project first hand with me," she beamed.

You followed her through a set of doors into a meeting room where the rest of the team was waiting. Ayumi took her seat at the head of the table and motioned for you to sit to the direct left of her: the only open chair in the room.

"Everyone, I'd like to introduce you to (y/n)! She's a third year in the business course from UA and will be completing her internship with us this year! Please give her a hearty welcome, I've heard wonderful things about her from All Might so she will be a great addition to our team." Ayumi smiled at you as she gave your introductory speech. The lady sitting next to you shook your hand and gave you a warm welcome. Ayumi really made you feel as if you were already an integral part of the marketing team even though you'd still be learning the ropes over the next few weeks. You wondered briefly what things All Might told Ayumi about you that made receiving such high praise understandable.

Ayumi began the meeting quickly after. You grabbed your laptop and clicked open your notetaking application.

"We are in the middle of a slow period of crime right now, which is wonderful news!" Ayumi began. "However it's really got the citizens thinking about heroes and their daily lives. When crime was high it was totally reasonable to think that All Might and the others were working non stop to fight villians, but now they're not in the light as much. Our mission these next few months is to show that our heroes are just normal every day people like you and I."

Everyone in the room seemed to agree and nod their heads. Our job is going to literally advertise All Might's personal life. How ironic considering you wanted to learn these things yourself.

"I want interviews, I want raw footage, and I want honesty from All Might," she continued. "We all know that All Might is a very private person so we are going to try our best to make this happen. It will really pay off if we feature him especially since so little is known to the outside world. Please make sure to go about this respectfully. I only want consensual footage. No pictures of All Might in the bubble bath."
