Long ago, a mythic battle between good and evil, played out in ancient China. The country was turn by civil war, with many kingdoms struggling for land and power.
But one king had a ruthless ambition to make himself Emperor by the sword. The other rulers hired assassins to kill the king before he could conquerer them all. Kingdom by kingdom, his army swept away everything on its path, and anyone who resisted met a terrible fate. The country was his. He was now Emperor of All Under Heaven.
He enslaved his conquered enemies and forced them to build his Great Wall. When they were dead or useless, he had them buried beneath it.
The Emperor's mystics taught him mastery over the five elements. Fire, water, earth, wood and metal. His power seemed without limit. He was master of millions, but like the lowliest peasant, he could not stop growing old. He needed to defeat his last enemy. Death itself.
One day, news came of a powerful witch who was rumored to know the secret to eternal life. He ordered General Ming, his oldest friend and trusted ally, to find her. The witch was named Thena, others knew her as the Eternal. She was nothing like the General expected.
Thena met with the Emperor who quickly became besotted with her. Her exotic looks, nothing he had ever seen before. No other woman like her. She explained she did not possessed the secret of immortality, but she in fact knew where to find it. That's when he knew, he wanted her for himself and himself only.

On the western border stood the Monastery of Turfan. There was a house, the greates library in the ancient world, and Thena was sure the secret of life was there. In that library Thena and the General found not only the long lost oracle bones, a collection of all mystical secrets of the ancient world, they also found love.

The Emperor's answer was there along with other magic beyond imagining. Thena thought she had done her task and began a relationship with General Ming not knowing the Emperor knew. The Emperor had asked her what she wanted, she replied, "a relationship with General Ming" and he "agreed".

She began the spell. She cast the spell in Sanskrit, an ancient language that the Emperor and in fact no one else could or would ever understand. After the spell, she saw her beloved about to be kill in the worst way possible. He gave her a choice, become his queen in order for her lover to live.
The General told her to save herself and live. But she knew, he would never keep his word. He had General Ming killed right in front of her and stabbed her, trying to kill her. In revenge, she cursed him and his army.
The curse must never be lifted, or the emperor will rise again to enslave all of mankind. In that dark day, there will be nothing and no one to save them. Or will there?
