It had been years since the the whole mummy adventure for Kara, her siblings and her now husband, Richard O'Connell. Kara now, thirty-five and mother of two, focused her time on her children and every now and then she would go explore with her husband. Evy, with her sisters help got accepted into the Bembridge school. Jonathan, was well, being Jonathan. After their returned from Hamunaptra, O'Connell and Kara began dating and the year after he proposed. Five months later they got married. In 1927, their sons a set of twins, Alex and Aaron were born. Alex was Rick O'Connell through and through. Aaron was all Kara. Both brothers loved history just like their mother and aunt but they also love adventure like both of their parents.
There was no denying that Kara was surprise to see the family she had. She loved her brother and sister, of course she did. Even when they all had their own lives she made sure to check on them and make sure they were okay. Her husband worked with her on most historic projects and on her many explorations. Yet, they were good parents to their kids. Their free time was spent with their children. Both boys enjoy history and most of their time was spent at the museum with their parents. Kara and O'Connell thought it was a good idea to retire from the exploring life but that didn't last long. After a few months they returned to the adventurous life.
Now, they had to embark in a new adventure for the year of the scorpion. It was the first time their children would be going with them, along with her little sister Evelyn. But, there's something about Kara that no one knows. Not even Kara. She is pregnant. This complicates things. Yet nothing can stop a mother from protecting or fighting for her children. Especially if that woman is the famous Kara Croft.
