JACOB POV
I heaved a sigh of relief as the bell rang. Mr. Mclaggen started gathering his things preparing for leave. Tasha yawned and scratched her hair and looked around. As soon as Mr. Mclaggen left, a different teacher entered the classroom and I could feel the atmosphere change of the classroom from monotonous to gasp to excitement as the teacher looked at the students with a bored expression he seemed nothing of harm but yet at the same time his eyes...they set off a deadly look. no one would dare to take on him if he would observe his eyes. All the students seemed shocked by his presence, I glanced at Tasha and her mouth was dropped open as she stared at the guy. I felt uneasy. Who was this guy ??
Suddenly a girl stood up and pointed at him "You are Lyn Markowitz !! You are the greatest...and..."
"Miss I don't think I am the subject here." said the person bluntly he didn't look one bit like a professor but the students were all excited at the idea of him teaching the whole class. As I was staring at him and for a moment our eyes met and I immediately realized that he was here because he was ordered to because he won't waste his time here with a bunch of new students who are highly uneducated about the ways (yea I am saying that even though I am the one least educated about their ways but I always have had the habit of stating the truth). Then he looks away and claps his hands, his sound resonates and everyone looks up to him expectantly. Wait. There hadn't been that written here before.
"The Breathing Forms: Types, techiniques and ranks"
I read it, what was all this about ??
"Okay, everyone come here is a line please no pushing each other." Everyone stood up and formed a line, I didn't want to get caught in a brawl or something so I just waited and stood at the last of the line Tasha was further 10 or 11 children ahead of me I sighed and started tailing the line, soon we stopped in front of an archway with two traditional Japanese buildings on each side. He led us through the archway and we reached the entrance with a big bell. He knocked at the big gate three times and it opened itself and we were hushed inside.
Once we were all inside and seated, the session began,
"Okay, so can anyone tell me what is our body made up of ??"
I racked my brain as a student's hand shot up, Sire nodded in agreement as she stood up, if there was one thing that was quite noticeable in here was that adults were highly responsible and respected here, it was kind of settling but at the same time, I reminisced how my father was so strict about respecting adults. I smiled to myself remembering my father though it also worried me as to how he must be now.
"Hey you," said a voice behind me, I shook out of my daze and looked behind to Lyn sensei sitting beside me and looking at me with a bored expression for a moment we just stared at each other.
"This class is not for sleeping, wake up. What is your name again ??"
I gulped "Jacob, sire!!" I replied a bit too loud, a boy behind me snickered at me while Tasha shot me a worried look. "Look here boy I am not here to spend my time on some oblivious little kids acting like "know it alls" okay ??" He stood up and went back to the place where he was standing in the past. Okay so as I am done with my explanations, you all know that the basic element which is the easiest is Earth as its molecules are tightly packed so it is easy to form it into a shape without it blowing apart. I nodded, but how to do it, I was just going to raise my hand when he continued and confirmed what I suspected. "No more question cause there wasn't really anything to have a doubt. Unless you didn't pay attention."
Roasted. As I skimmed through the books I had and tried to think as to what could possibly be the order for breathing. No one from the class was supposed to tell me and they were actually following the rules !! Such rules were made to be broken, and they probably would have been broken by them if the teacher hadn't been so intimidating. Just recalling the practicals in the class gave me the goosebumps, the immense strength he had shown was just awesome. I groaned in irritation and threw the book and it hit the door. I looked around myself, it was a severe mess. I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate on what my father would have said.
'The environment of your room actually shows what condition is your brain is.'
"The environment of your room actually shows what condition is your brain is." I nodded. Well, there wasn't anything left to do anything, I had to get ready by tomorrow for the practicals, at least I should not be clueless about the practicals tomorrow. I clean the room and go to give the books back and bring some new ones.
As I walked around with the books and a map trying to find out my way to the library that I bumped into a guy, one of my seniors who was muttering to himself. I bumped and our books dropped. "Uh !! sorry !!" he shrieked as if I were a ghost, it was really unlike a senior to apologize but I just replied back "No problem !!" As I started recollecting the books that I saw one of his books, "Primordial breathings: A guide to all the breathing and how to excel them" I looked at that guy and asked, "Can I borrow this book ??" He looks at me probably not expecting a conversation and then looks at the book and then nods, I quickly run away as he calls out to me "wait!! Know my name atleast so that you are able to give me the book!!" But I couldn't, my whole body tingling with excitement which had just replaced my tired body lacing it with newfound strength as I run back to my room.
Back in the room, I find Tasha, she gives me a look "Where have you been?" I ignore her and run straight to the bathroom, I needed some peace if I wanted to finish this book in a day with enough practice to conjure the elements.
Woohoo guys!!! Finally back with a new chapter after much thought and consideration, Sorry for being so late in updating, and thanks to those who are patiently waiting for the next chapter!! Please vote, comment and share if you like the chapter!!
