Meeting the Family

As I flew to America I started to rumble off with the things I wanted to do with her. I'm a total free woman right now. I don't have anything to worry since I took a rest on my career.

It wasn't such a hard flight only few people had borded the plane. When it got pretty boring I slept and there it goes the time suddenly cuts off and now we've arrive at the state.

I fasten my pace and immediately called Mina but she wasn't answering suddenly a tall guy had tap my shoulders.

The foreign man is wearing a suit. He suddenly spoke to me and asked me in english language.

"Son Chaeyoung? I'll be your ride for today." I hardly know this man so I was quite stunned that he knows my name. Who could've know maybe he's a saesang but based on his looks and attire he looks far more richer than I am.

I was kind off skeptical not until he introduces himself to me. "Oh my bad." he laughs. "I forgot to introduce myself." he reach his hand unto me.

"Myoui Yuta. Your girlfriend's brother." there was along paused before everything came clear to me. They don't look like each other at all. He took my bag without notice and then I followed him. His car is nice but mines better of course. Oh wait, do I have to behave now?

Being in the passenger seat next to this guy is kind of awkward. He's wearing a thin smile. "Is it your first time being here?" he asked.

I shooked my head no. "I've been here a couple of times." he nodded. That's right i've been here for so many times already coming back to search for what's mine.

I think he's trying to get friendly but from the way he looks I'm kind of afraid to say anything.

He looks like that one guy from the anime I used to watch. The dude with long red hair, a scar on his cheeks and a sword. You get it.

The thing isㅡI'm really confused as to why he's the one getting me from the airport. Is he the one I'm about to meet.

"You're probably wondering why I was the one who fetched you at the airport." like a mind reader he is. I just nodded at him.

"She's accompanying our father. They haven't seen each other for awhile."

My heart skipped a beat when I heard the word 'father'. Mina didn't told me anything about meeting her parents. She did told me i'll meet someone.

"We're here. Are you ok Chaeyoung-ssi?" he asked me with a worriedness written on his face. I swear why do I always get everyone worried about me, I want to be strong to be able to handle myself.

If only I wasn't weak. I pursed my lips and nodded my head then open the side door. I brushed my hair with my hands a couple of times to look more presentable. If I know that i'll meet my only love's father. I could've been more prepared.

I followed the man as we walked in to Mina's own place, the house itself isn't that huge but purely elegant. Of course it's owned by the goddess of elegance herself what did I expect. We then stopped at the front door my hands are trembling for quite some time now, I'm feeling a bit feeverish.

When we entered I thought we disturb a fully constructed meeting. Mina who was sitting at her sofa stood up immediately and that's when I started to smile widely. I can't help it I missed her.

She hug me and I hug her back. Tight. Unwilling to let go, if her father didn't cleared his throat. I jump slightly he looks so serious and I can feel that in those eyes I was his target.

We sat at the sofa me and Mina in front of her father.

"Son Chaeyoung?"

Nervously, I answered yes.
