{Alhamdulillah for seeing another day}

| Ameera binte Ahmed |

"And when I ran into you a few weeks back, and I saw the pain, emptiness and fear in your eyes, I felt my heart shatter into tiny pieces. Yes I called you my ex wify and yes I acted boastful and arrogant but I got my reasons and I want to tell you, I really do but I can't and I'm sorry for that. I don't want to lose you, please give me one more chance to prove that we meant to be, please give us another chance," he sobbed with his head hung low

I immediatly pulled my hands out of his and walked towards the balcony. It's really cold tonight. Freezing I must say.

I turn around to see that Zaidan was still in the same spot and hadn't moved an inch. Hes still on his knees, his hands on the side while his head hung low and tears in his eyes.

Theres so much so that you can love someone, theres so much so that your heart can take and I had been pushed to my limits, he left me within the first week of our marriage and then the 3 years of hell that I was put through after that. As well as how he pretended to be an amazing person before our nikaah and right after that he treated me worse then trash.

Just because hes been a nice person or even better "pretending" to be a person doesn't mean that he has genuinely changed. I feel so out of place and so lost ever since I got into that car with him.

I cleared my throat, "Mr Sumani, just because my father forced me to come here without my will and I did doesn't mean that I'm going to give you another chance. You had the audacity to hurt me intentionally to a point where I couldn't get out of bed for months . To this day I still don't understand why you put me through what you put me through. To this day I still don't understand what I did to be punished in such a way. You "pretending" to be nice won't melt my heart and magically make me trust you again. Your sweet words and sweet actions won't make me want to hold your hand once again. Yes I felt something for you, maybe I still do but I'm not a fool to fall into your ugly trap once again. I'll be a guest in your house until Shaveer and I don't figure out how I can get back home and until then please stay away from me, I'd really really appreciate it."

I didn't spare him a second glance and left the room to go back downstairs by Aunty Khadijah and Zaakirah yet I didn't see either of them. That's strange.

I then somehow found my way to the kitchen cause I was starving. Looking in the fridge and pantry I found nothing. Nothing at all. Do these people not eat?

"Ma'am do you need something," a scared yet calm voice of a woman asked

"You startled me," I say as I let out a small laugh
