Human Reader on their period (P1)

I didn't think I'd write a scenario like this but then I started getting really bad period cramps and I needed comfort so 🤠 Here we are. 

Tbh I doubt that periods are actually a thing in the Splatoon universe because squids obviously don't get periods, but!! What about a human reader?? So this is what we're doing now. Just ignore how it should be impossible for Reader to get period products and it should be okay

Callie

- Like with other human concepts you had to explain to her, Callie responded by being really enthusiastic and supportive! Though she was kinda surprised that you have to go through such a painful process every month. Like, why would your body do that to itself? 

- Puts in a bit more effort to be nicer towards you. Likes to remind you of how cute you are and how she's there for you no matter what. She gives lots of validation. 

- ...But her composure kinda disappears once you start getting those really bad aches. She'll panic, as she's not sure how to handle period pains. But if you tell her what to do in advance and give her enough practice, she'll get good at it.

Marie

- She tries not to make a big deal out of your "human stuff." She wants to make it clear that she loves you for your personality and not what you look like. So when you informed her about your period, she just nodded along. 

- After that, she doesn't bring it up unless you do first. It's not like she's not keeping it in mind though- Marie would cook your favorite foods when you're hungry, and she'd do your laundry to help clean stains. But she does those things quietly without feeling the need to point it out. 

- And if you complain about any aches you might have, she'll leave pain medication and water by your bedside. (Red Ink readers when they read that: 😐😐😐) AHEM anyways she'll gently kiss your forehead too <3

Pearl

- Tbh she has a tendency to forget that you're a human sometimes, just like she does with Marina being an Octoling. That's part of the reason why she was so shocked when she found out. The most embarrassing part was when she yelled "YOU'RE BLEEDING FROM THE PUSSY?!?!"

- After she calmed down, Pearl immediately decided she was gonna have your back. She always does, but in this case... Uh. Wow. She's basically obligated to. 

- Homegirl is gonna come through for you and have a lifetime supply of period products even though she doesn't need them herself. Probably dedicates an entire room in her mansion to it, from pads/tampons/whatever to your favorite comfort food. Ask and you shall recieve!

Marina

- Marina does her best to keep an open mind when you educate her about how the human body works. She knows how different it is from hers and she loves to learn, so she's definitely interested. She thinks it's amazing your body can go through all that!

- Even so, it does worry her that you're in pain. She understands it's natural, but still. She feels awkward asking you directly but once she knows what to do, she's ready to help whenever. 

- Funnily enough I think she'd be more concerned over when your period is coming than you are. She has a checklist of stuff for your period and she wants to make sure you have it when you need it. It might be annoying hearing her ask when you're due but she means well. 

Three 

- Three has a hard time understanding how you're not dying. To them, bleeding = dying. You'll hear the question "Are you sure you don't need to go to the hospital?" so many times it'll drive you insane. But they'll chill out if you insist enough that you're okay.
