Oh no
Did I, just now, make you go?
I was just starting to show~
"This isn't working out for me. I'm sorry, let's end this." The girl stood up from her seat and walked out of the coffee shop.
It has been 3 months since they had a thing going on between them. 5 more minutes and it's closing time, good thing there weren't a lot of customers in the shop. Iwaizumi just stared at the other side of the table thinking what he did wrong. He sighed and coming out from the counter was his best friend, Oikawa.
"Are you gonna finish that, Iwa-chan?" Oikawa asked. He didn't want to annoy Iwaizumi right now.
"No, you can take it." Iwaizumi blantly answered while still staring at nothing.
"Iwa-chan, at least look at me when you say it." Oikawa seemed worried about him.
There was no response that made Oikawa go back to the kitchen. Iwaizumi was left alone sitting at the table and spacing out. The past three months with that girl went so well, what happened? Was I too much or too less? Was I boring? Iwaizumi's thoughts were all over the place and it wasn't good for him.
When Oikawa got back, he sat in front of Iwaizumi to have a serious talk with him. Iwaizumi wasn't looking at Oikawa and was focused on why the girl left him.
"Iwa-chan, it wasn't your fault." Oikawa calmly said.
"But, I thought she was the one." Iwaizumi mumbled.
"For fuck's sake. That's what you said about the other girl and then other and then other. The list goes on." Oikawa broke out of his calmness that made Iwaizumi look at him.
"What are you trying to say?' Iwaizumi asked.
"Will you let this dating life rest for a while? You're clearly not taking care of yourself. Look at yourself-." Oikawa got cut off by Iwaizumi.
"I'm a loser." Iwaizumi said.
"Yes, but can you at least eat on time? You rarely eat and more focused on working out. It's not healthy." Oikawa said.
"Who told you?" Iwaizumi raised his eyebrow.
"You forgetful ass, aren't you a health trainer or something?" Oikawa teased.
"Shut the fuck up before I tell your manager you flirt with every customer and give them a discount." Iwaizumi threatened Oikawa.
"Okay, first of all, don't. Second, keep that energy up. I'll have to close up the shop. Let's go home." Oikawa said and walked back behind the counter.
Iwaizumi stood up and waited for him outside the shop. He checked his phone after hours of not checking, he got blocked by the girl who dumped him at the shop. He sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Did she block you?" Oikawa asked.
"Yes." Iwaizumi answered.
"They always do." Oikawa rolled his eyes.
"But, you know what, I'm kinda regret something." Iwaizumi said.
"What?" Oikawa asked.
"I haven't showed her the best of me." Iwaizumi shrugged.
